Mods We NEED vs Want?

What do you gamers think are mods that we absolutely need. Bug patches? better building for settlements?

For me i'd say

Needs -

1) Bug patches

2) Settlement overhauls. We should be able to build bigger settlements with more people and better options. One thing that bugs me is if you're in your build mode, an view a settler, it should tell you what they are assigned to. But it doesn't...

3) Better electrical set ups. I'd say a power box. Put it on one wall, run a generator to it, and viola power to the entire house.

Wants -

1) Extensive pet follower system. Dogmeat is cool yeah but a Yao in some makeshift power armor would be legit as well. As would a Deathclaw. Could you imagine an X-01 power armored deathclaw? Aw yus

2) Lord of the Damned - A system allowing you to completely micromanage all of your settlers. Kick out males for an all female place, sexy time all of them, become the new Craster (game of thrones reference) if you want even. Or just use it for immersive settlement reasons

3) More types of enemies really. I'm tired of giant mosquitos and super mutants.

Needs:

same as op ide say though i don't personally care for the settlement building more often then not i just ignore the feature.

now i do think a mod that fixes followers is necessary considering how many times i've been pushed into traps by them in previous fallout games i used to tell my followers to stay at least 10 paces behind me (with the help of a mod) but in fallout 4 they seem to think that my butt is a magnet for them.

wants:

way too many to count :P

body mods

hair mods

outfits

more quests

a more pc friendly ui

a mod menu of sorts

a realistic needs and diseases mod.

For what it's worth I fully intend on starting another interiors mod along the lines of DCInteriors and NVInteriors.

Until the GECK is released I will just be playing the game taking notes of locations to fill. Though I will probably just start with Concord do some simple houses to get a feel for the new tile sets and move to the more complicated stuff once I am more familiar with the new GECK and Scripting.

Need: scrapping items in the inventory so we don't need to drop them.

Want: a hotkey in the loot UI that displays a tooltip for the selected item, which includes the components you'll get from scrapping said item.

Quoted for truth! There has to be some sort of zoning that would let this option work anytime you are around workbenches. If not...making it work anytime would be acceptable.

Another need is to have a pipboy system that separates data/notes from other things like skill magazines/tapes/bobbleheads.

It's really pretty annoying having to dig through all that junk of notes you picked up along the way to find the one you just picked up.
