No classic Fallout Weapons...

Currently I'm seriously considering putting my adventure in the Boston Wasteland on hold till Classic Weapons from the game gets modded back into the games.

I know Todd Howard's boys are doing their darndest to give the players a new feel of the game. I know they did what they can but I miss the classics from Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Anyone else feel the same?

I know the feels. Especially New Vegas weapons (and alternative ammos). I so want to retake the Castle with a Red Glare in hand. AMERICA! America! God (sounds of explosions everywhere) his grace on thee!

I actually miss the wooden G-3 American assault rifle from Fallout 3. That actually made sense

I've already found 2 Fat Man (Men?...whatever) and am running around with a nice scoped hunting rifle and a submachine gun. I also have a fairly extensive collection of 10mm pistolas. Several of the guns shown above can be made from pieces 'n' parts. It'll be interesting when the G.E.C.K. comes out to find out just what all is in the game. There may be more to be found than we suspect right now.

https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1332182 Check this out some extracted the weapons from fallout games!

-Exctract below

I started working on this about 6 months ago, and I sort of took a break till about 2 weeks ago, so here I have a wip thread of about 200+ weapons.

Models taken from Fallout: 3, Fallout 3: Broken Steel, Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta, Fallout 3: Point Lookout, Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage, Fallout 3: The Pitt, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout New Vegas: Honest Hearts, Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road, Fallout New Vegas: Dead Money, Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues, and plenty of mods from Nexus Mods Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3

I take no credit in the original models, I simply converted them to the source format. All rights are to Bethesda.

Sorda, but not for me personally. I'll admit I'v started working on a 10M D-eagle in Max tho, since thats a pretty rare gun to encounter in games.

But most of the weapons look pretty bland and I'm drowning in the wooden raider weapons, some variety for enemies would be very welcome yes ....

@Skullangel, wow man awesome job ! Thank you for the work I just know these will be useful, now its just waiting for the CK =D

OP, you talk like previous FO weapons are not in the game when you haven't played the game itself. Previous FO weapons in FO4 that I've accumulated:

Hunting Rifle

Tommy Gun

Laser Rifle/Pistol

Plasma Rifle/Pistol

Fat Man

Missile Launcher

Minigun (triple barrel upgrade is pretty sweet)

Gatling Laser

.44 revolver is in but is silver and not black

Combat Shotgun

Double Barreled Shotgun

10mm Pistol

Chinese Officer's Sword

Bottlecap Mines

Frag / Plasma / Pulse Grenades

Combat Knife

Ripper

Shishkebab

Switchblade

Etc, a whole slew of melee weapons

And even more I have not acquired yet.

Some are in but visually got changed.

Assault Rifle got changed from the FN-FAL look-alike into something of a cross between a Maxim, Bren Machinegun, but more portable. There's also the Combat Rifle which is similar in function but actually looks more proper for the American setting. The Combat Rifle with a bit of mods looks like the M-14, which would be proper for the U.S. setting.

The Flamer is in also but looks different.

FO3's Rock-It Launcher is now the Junk Jet. Looks different but functions the same.

Keep in mind also that the weapon modification system can GREATLY alter the appearance and function of a weapon. The Double Barreled Shotgun is an excellent example. By default, stock version looks and acts exactly like the old sawed-off double barreled shotgun. Very short and no stock. But with a stock mod, barrel mod, you take that same gun and it magically becomes the regular, double barreled shotgun with longer barrel (and tighter shot spread) and stock. So is the same with many weapons in the game.

I expect Bethesda to of course throw in more weapons later with DLCs. Not to mention the modders which have traditionally, heavily backed Bethesda's RPGs to do their magic once again.

Yeah, but they don't have ALL the guns. I personally like the Wattz series of Laser weapons, and especially the P-94 rifle that functions as a rifle, not a mortar.

All of those old weapons are more than possible to mod in, except....

Do you think it will be too hard to do the pump-action animations? I really liked the hunting shotguns for New Vegas and those things should be everywhere.

The one that I miss, more than any other, is the .223 pistol. I was completely psyched when it showed up again in New Vegas- never went anywhere without it. If there was just one Fallout game where using Deckard's famous gun form Blade Runner would be entirely appropriate, it would be this one, but... sadly...
