HanGoneSolo
So I made a mod that added a 90s rock music station, but a little after it was taken down for the reasons above. It makes perfect sense, but I don't really fully understand, aren't 90% of mods infringing copyright? Other radio stations are doing the same and they're fine, is it to do with some kind of option I might've overlooked while publishing it? Cheers. Oubliette
No. 90% of mods is not infringing copyright. Any radio station mod that does not have the rights to the music or doesn't use music in the public domain will be taken down as soon as the staff is aware of it's presence. If you find one feel free to report it and it will be taken down. A lot of Fo4 radio station mods have been removed, more every bloody day because people don't seem to get the point and keep doing the same thing. This is also about the fourth post I've seen in as many days asking what copyright is or complaining about something being removed while hinting at some other thing that's just as bad. If you find one that's genuinely full of copyrighted content then report it. As for what copyright is see my the link in my sig, where it's broken down to 10 easy to follow points. DoctorKaizeld
i think 7 radio mods were removed today alone. also yes Obliette is correct and i highly suggest you read the copyrights link in her signature.
SkyeFlyer
There is such an easy solution for this problem: If you make a radio mod, offer it on Nexus WITHOUT the music, and leave a link of where to GET the music from a .zip or similar that you have uploaded to another site (one that doesn't give half a s#*!, preferably). Blam. Fixed.

SkyeFlyer
that equals a ban that equals a ban Ok, no link, but a list of suggested music the downloader has to find themselves?
DoctorKaizeld
Ok, no link, but a list of suggested music the downloader has to find themselves?if you mean a mod like the jukebox mod from Skyrim then yes that would be fine and greatly appreciated. oh and recommending songs is fine but honestly not worthy of a mod page until you have player for it or something.
