A big friggin' anchor melee weapon, covered in stuff like rust, barnacles, algae, etc.

 

Idea mostly from trudging through Boston Harbor in some X-01 at night. Very "Nautilus" from League of Legends.

Edit: Heck, more two-handed melee weapons. Bring back the Bumper Swords, Auto-Axe, Fire Axe, Chainsaw, and Rebar Club.

 

Also the Grenade Machinegun 'cause why not.

Dear Santa,

 

Some VATS Changes I'd like:

1. Throw Grenades

2. Change weapons

3. Execute a string of commands and reenter VATS immediately after.

4. Option to enter VATS whenever combat starts.

 

These would be cool by themeslves but....

 

-Isometric camera. Add that to the VATS changes and you've got a turn-based RPG. Well... ish. (I honestly don't know if this would work at all, but it would be fun to try out.)

 

-UnDynamic HUD: I want to see my ammo and grenade count all the time! I'm not sure why though, sometimes I forget things...

 

-Rebalance, specifically wrt health. At higher levels both you and enemies have waaaaay to much health.

 

-Wintermyst for Fallout 4: Legendary mods are great. And like my drug dealer says, you can never have too much of a good thing.

 

-A Better ending. If I become director of the institute, I'm not letting the old director push me around. I don't care you are old and sickly, you're never to old for dad to give a good spanking. Now stop suggesting I murder my buddies, you ungrateful whelp.

 

-The one everyone's asking for: dual wielding. I don't even have a joke about this.

 

-Quests. Maybe I've been playing too much modded Skyrim, but FO4 feels really empty after the main quest. Hey you know what, I'll give you two ideas, completely for freebies: 1. Join or Thwart some insidious plan by the children of Atom. 2. Silver shroud. I want more silver shroud.

 

-Real combat armor (someone suggested this before). I hate the new couple of pieces of metal strapped to you look. IMO, it's so awful looking I just couldn't use it, even it would have better stats.

 

-Melee Button Seperated from Grenade Button. Consolitis kills. Get vaccinated.

 

-Melee like the melee hotkey from the FNV mod: I want to set a weapon as my melee weapon and use it when I tap the melee button.

 

-Holopipboy. I really loved the holopipboy mod from fallout NV. Please bring it back. (With holo-holotapes?! :O )

 

-Racemenu. "Oh look you drag"-- I don't care GIVE ME SOME FREAKING SLIDERS.

 

-A silver shroud retext that doesn't change the colors. It's silver guys. And yes, it's black too. What self-respecting 50s style comic hero wears brown?

 

-All workbenches, everywhere share inventory. "But Local Leader"--I DON'T WANT TO BE A LEADER I WANT TO BE THAT CREEPY GUY THAT BUILDS THINGS IN HIS BASEMENT! Well, ok, maybe not but still. F--- Local Leader.

 

-Heartbreaker, from Skyrim. Because I want to rip people's hearts out. Don't judge me.

 

-Better pipboy shadows mod. Me with that mod: OMG that looks so awes--wait WHAT'S WRONG WITH THOSE SHADOWS!? I don't how or if this is possible, but the game-generated pipboy shadows look good about 40% of the time and odd the other 60%.

 

 

And finally, let's ask for huge freaking project:

-Skwind but for New Vegas in Fallout 4. I'd call it Fallout... New Vegas. Wait. Crap.

Hi,

 

one mod I would like to see in F4 is that there will be an option to use stored or crafted items (beds, wells or generators) in all settlements.

 

I couldn't understand that junkitems or materials could be send over the entire map (per trade route) but a crafted chair or generator is not possible.

(the idea with the pooling of objects could be taken from the junkitems)

 

For our hardcore RP gamers could a fee be added.

I just want a mod that removes the swearing in the game both the voice and the text. I'm no prude (did my share of swearing in my past) but I have mellowed with age so I really don't want to see and hear all the curse words (like " You really want all that S**t" , "Press the Mo***r F**king V key") I don't know that it is what the text commands should be, if a bad guy needs to say a curse word or a curse word is called for its OK, but not just general commands or hints. I don't know if it could be done but someone please try.

Signal Flare that calls in a BoS Vertibird strike team.

Signal Flare to call in Liberty Prime.

A Settlement building ladder than you can extend like power lines.

Laser Rifle with Liberty Prime beam.

Increased random settlement attacks.

Jet Pack that doesn't run out.

I have a number of mod ideas ranging from simple armors to full-on easter egg questlines. Most of these are from my lover of comics, but I digress. I start with the simpler ones first....

 

First off a re-tooling of the nerd-rage perk: Instead of simply gaining strength and more durability, have the player literally Hulk-out and turn into a Super mutant or super mutant behemoth but restricted to only using unarmed & melee attacks.

 

Mr Freeze power armor: Pretty self explanatory, and thanks to the inclusion of the cyrolator, making a power armor variant that resembles Mr. Freeze's armor from batman TAS is, imo, a no-brainer, especailly with a nice foggy/iced-over glass helmet. If you know look up the armor Im referring to you'll see it even fits the retro-style used throughout FO3 & 4.

 

Predator armor: This should not be a power armor as predator armor is as much about maneuverability as it is durability. But it should contain all the right goodies ranging from intergrated stealth-boy functionality, shoulder-mounted laser/plasma cannon, and a nice bladed gauntlet. (truthfully, I'd be surprised if some modder out there doesn't already have this in the works but still I felt it should be mentioned).

 

Star Wars armors: Bounty hunter power armor with jet-pack and an optional wrist-mounted flame-thrower. Storm trooper armor, not power armor, but say equal to combat armor with a nice charisma bonus.

 

Questline mods:

 

Super mutant X-men: Super mutants fighting for a world that hates and fears them XD !! Properly dressed in pseudo-lore friendly outfits resembling the X-men. Now the beauty of this idea is that many of the necessary abilities required are already in the game. For example, a Cyclops super-mutant could be equipped with a visor that functions the same way as the assaultron's eye beam. Wolverine would naturally have an adamatium skeleton/indestructible limbs with a VERY high hp regen. Gambit would wield a customize/metal pool cue stick and throw pink/purplish grenades with reckless abandon. Many other X-men favorites could be created as well, the ones I listed are simply (imo) obvious examples of ways to implement them.

 

For X-men villians a super-mutant behemoth Juggernaut, properly dressed in his red-domed helmet would be pretty easy imo. Next you could have either a simple replacer for Liberty Prime to make him resemble a sentinel OR a custom giant sentinel in it's own location (but should still be, imo, close if not equal to LP in terms of stats). Apocalpse would be another super mutant behemoth who's size/stats grow as he takes more damage (making fighting him harder the closer he comes to defeat) with any number of abilities limited only by the modder's whims (as Apoc can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants in the first place). Last, but certainly not least, would be Magneto. Mags could be implemented similarly to Lorenzo Cabot with abilities that knock players/objects around trying to impale/crush/etc the player & X-men.

 

I have more ideas but these are definitely at the top of my wish list. My thanks in advance to any modder's out there that make any/all of these come true.
