netramz
There are a couple of legendary mods that actually have a visible part. E.g., Kremvh's Tooth actually has a weird blade, although it's an epic mod for a machete. E.g., the legendary automatic musket you get at the end of the game actually is a special receiver.Aside from the weapons mentioned here, I'm not sure any other "unique" weapons have anything visually distinguishing them from a randomly generated legendary variant of the same weapon. It would definitely make sense for legendaries to have some type of visual aspect differentiating them from a regular weapon rather than just a star beside its name. For example, I'm pretty sure if you pick up a two-shot combat rifle, you could just name it Overseer's Guardian and you have a copy of a "unique" weapon. Warmaker01
But we can't extract them, Think about however op that would be :sad:Mods, mods never change. There is already a mod a mod for that. It's one of the most OP mods out there. It's so powerful and tempting to throw whatever Legendary trait into whatever weapon, even Armor traits to whatever Armor pieces. If one is looking for a tougher, more survival based game, the mod breaks it to hell :ninja: Once you dip your hands into this mod's cookie jar, you can't stop at just one. Well, the Silver Submachine Gun is silver plated. Shem Drowne's Sword has a custom glow. Grognak's Axe is the only axe in the game. So that would answer the 'any other' part. That said, yeah, I am somewhat disappointed that the 'uniques' aren't really unique like in FO3 or NV. There are SOME really unique, like I mentioned, but most are indeed no different from what you can get in legendary encounters. I mean, as you say, when I got the Wazer Wifle, for something that's literally an endgame weapon, in fact an after-endgame weapon, it was identical to something that dropped much earlier. In FO3 when I got it, it really had some unique stats. Hard not to be a bit disappointed.
Ekscalybur
I just wish the games engine would eliminate retarded legendaries. Mutant/Ghoul slaying Gama Gun. Extra damage to enemy types that are immune to the damage type. Brilliant. Anything critical related Fat Man. A chance to do nothing because you just vaporized whatever it was you were aiming at. LordTonyZ
I'm also thinking these "never ending" legendary variants should only apply to energy based weapons not magazine fed weapons. Either way I prefer to have no never ending guns.
