guntherrall275
i haven't seen this posted anywhere before (here or elsewhere) but thought i would share just in case. This only works if you are REALLY BORED and is probably slower than just playing the game normally. Find a safe that is hooked up to a terminal, pick the safe, hack the terminal and use the terminal to RE-LOCK the safe. pick it again, get more xp (it worked for me four times in a row, got more xp every time). Rinse and repeat as much as you want. gunther
Moraelin
Ah, nostalgia... You could relock and re-unlock stuff in FO1 and FO2, you know?

Rabbit1251
That's pretty good, Gunther. I'm good at catching legal cheats, but I never caught on to this one. Kudos to you, Sir!! Rabbit

You could relock and re-unlock stuff in FO1 and FO2, you know?thats cool. i have played a total of five minutes in FO1 and FO2 combined. i need to go back and play them but it is just hard for me to play retro games. there are some exceptions though. I will keep trying to get into it periodically. it will take sooner or later.

I'm still surprised that I never caught that before. Rabbit

Well, I played them back when they were brand spanking new, and really pretty cutting edge, not retro  <insert ranting about how back in my day we had 8 bits for the whole family, and we had to walk two miles through snow to get them. And they had to last us the whole week.> dont think that i think i found something game changing or amazing, just something interesting that i thought was worth sharing. If you wanted to practice lockpicking IRL, that's pretty much what you'd do. Plus, it's really very little XP amd it's beyond boring if you want to get to level 50 that way. And you might break a couple of lockpicks in the process, and those are rather few in the very beginning, when that xp would help the most. I suppose if you're missing 50 xp for the next level, and really wanted to get the next level of armoursmith or weaponsmith and upgrade your equipment before you go on the next quest, sure, you can lock and unlock something a few times. But that's about the utility of it. It's rather situational at best, is all I'm saying.
