Honestly, it was having "innies" - close up high definition labia majora - all over the home screen for 2-3 days that got me. As a kneejerk, I mentally lashed out at other nude mods. I'm not against tasteful nudity on mod thumbnails (although that is subjective in and of itself) and you can put what you want on the file page.

 

If someone mods anus textures, I don't think a lovingly rendered goatse is an appropriate mod thumbnail. Some tasteful bum-shots or side-arse, but not a face full of HD anus. Not for the mod icon. Feel free to put it on the actual page, it's entirely appropriate there. Just... Not the icon.

I would like to note that if there is an adult image in a mod that is not marked adult then you can report it and have it addressed. So there at least not be any mods showing adult images that are not marked as such.

You can tag any file with the adult tag but I believe the mod author has to set it themselves for it to be fully flagged as Adult.

 

As for the "lovingly rendered goatse", I challenge anyone to get that as many endorsements as the Innie Vag mod.

Here's the thing, you can either choose to see "adult" mods, or not. What you see is up to you, not the mod author, not the site, but you. If you aren't mature enough, like the OP seems to be, then you can choose not to view it, at all. The TOS is there. If you agree to abide by the rules of the site, and you are mature enough to do so, then view all content. If you aren't, then you can choose not to view everything. Here's something to do, go watch the South Park episode called HumancentiPad.

So, I've been wondering about this. Like all things involving the internet and the PC Master Race, considering the hoops needed to be jumped through in order to get a mod downloaded onto a console... will consoles remain PG13 only while PC will always have the capacity to go rated R? In short, will the PC retain its mod superiority because companies won't be willing to sponsor R rated content (porn mods) for download onto consoles.

As of right now the only way planned to get a mod to a console is via that consoles modding site. Or, steam if you have a steambox?

I do not believe Nexus will support console modding directly. But that's just speculation. Who knows really.

 

And you can bet your sweet ass Microsoft and Sony aren't going to let porn (or anything that can be misrepresented as porn) on their consoles.

I think Nexaus need to put in some features if kids getting on this site. This isn't like that porn mod site for skyrim but this have just as 50% as much porn it has.

There needs to be filter or something and stop having nude mods on the front page.

I do wish these modders grow up and make a more decent mod then one that express there fetish. It may be personal to me but I'm really getting sick how people today are viewing women and this isn't helping. I'm already questioning why so many mod reviewers keep reviewing a mod using a sexualized female avatar.

Yes but if they do not properly mark it as adult it should be reported for the moderators to handle and fix or give a formal warning if it is a reoccurring issue. This includes adult content in pictures associated with the mod even if the mod is not adult. They would need to mark it as such or remove the pictures. I had to do this on more than one occasion when moderating.
