wouldnt be simpler to make hand held weapon that looks like spray can that leaves permanent mark (persay laser burn) but colored. like when u shoot a wall u see bullet holes but eventually they disappear why not do like laser burn sept make it permanent.

An update on this.

So, after fighting alpha blending problems (and losing), I'm just going with no alpha blending and will figure that out later.

Planning to have these (and the rest of the alphabet) up sometime tomorrow. They're sorted off in their own section, and it shouldn't be too hard to support other mods with patches. Just tedious.

Any suggestions on the appearance before I get too far?

First round is just these stencil letters in black, they're small enough to fit on fronts of shops. Next round will be extra colors, at least white, and maybe more sizes.

Dude that's awesome, I will use it as-is right now! Can't wait until it's up on the Nexus.

Hi,

I currently use letters at my settlements - mainly to tag switches - but I have an other problem, that needs a solution where those letters can't be used.

PROBLEM:

My usual approch to large mazes (like Gunner's Plaza) is like kill all first in a rush and than loot 100% while having all the time in the world. But that's time consuming when you stumble into a corridor for the second or third time that you've already cleaned 100%.

DESIRED SOLUTION "KILROY WAS HERE":

A spray paint likely in "Red" to be used like a weapon in the inventory with infinite "ammo" to mark walls and/or floors with lines, arrows, crosses, smileys, kilroys or whatsoever to visualize that the marked area has already been looted (by me). They paint should stay on the walls at least until I l've left the place back to "Commonwealth" better for 24 in-game hours.

THANX in advance to the modder who accepts this "challenge" !!!

You'd probably want something similar to how they do bullet damage and laser burns for that... a temporary function that doesn't use the settlement system.

I'd download this in a heartbeat

Well, it's not a graffiti / free spray paint mod (although, hey, that would be cool, especially with a water gun so that you can clean your art up a la Super Mario Sunshine  ), and won't snap to moving objects like the ideal decal-based solution, but my Chicago Typewriter mod accomplishes some of what was asked for viz. discrete letters in the original post through an activator approach (if you have the Wasteland Workshop DLC), as you can put Neon letters and Paper Tag letters wherever you want, semi-permanently (you can remove them by activating).

Believe it or not, my username derives from using a specific signature Counter-Strike spray way back in the cybercafe days...

the old Half Life engine :D I used to play DoD loads. half the fun was spray tagging walls. sometimes I'd use a clan recruitment poster, sometimes a personal tag.

something like that in Fallout would be good
