Welka1982
Hey folks, I tried a few things but I don't seem to go anywhere with my problem. I'm not far from finishing the game and after finishing it, I would like to start over but keeping my character, stats and perks. The idea is to do a hardcore survival play through but reusing my actual character. But I don't want to find the magazines and bobbleheads I already found in my first play through. So my question is, is there a way to remove the magazines and bobble heads I already have when I start my second play through?Using the command moveitem just duplicates the item so it doesn't help. Thanks for you answers ;)
Deleted31005User
Your question is really confusing, how will you start a new game with your old character and keep all your stats?Do you want to keep all your current magazines and bobbleheads when you start this new game? I'm not sure how you can even accomplish those first 2 questions, but I guess in order to delete ALL magazines and bobbleheads from your new game you would have to make your own mod with FO4EDIT and delete all those items. If you have never used TES5EDIT for Skyrim or FO4EDIT then its probably not advised to try this on your own, or you might just ruin your game. Welka1982
That's right, I'd like to keep my perks and skills from my first play through and carry them over to my hardcore play through. That's not difficult, it'll just take a bit of time adding each of them manually via the console at the beginning of my new game.Regarding the bobbleheads and magazine, I wondered if adding them to my inventory via console and wait 7 days would make the game not spawn them as it loads chunks of the mapI haven't used FO4EDIT, so as you said I'll stay away from it EDIT: I'm not bothered about keeping bobbleheads and magazines in my inventory when starting a new game, I just don't want to find the ones I already did in my first play through and potentially duplicate their effects on me Edited January 15, 2016 by Welka1982

Deleted2948850User
Get the reference ID's of the stuff you've already found and use the prid [refID] and markfordelete commands to delete them from the game. But since you're already starting a new game and adding all your stuff through the console, you could also prid and moveto player them and simply pick them up instead of adding clones of them to your inventory. Welka1982
I made a test with moveto while I was standing next to a bobblehead. It was simply creating a duplicate. Hence why I was thinking about the move to command while I was still in vault 111 and then wait 7 days to make sure the zones would refresh (even though in theory they shouldn't have loaded anything yet)
Deleted2948850User
Did you use the reference ID or base ID in your test? If you used the base ID, yea, clones.
Welka1982
Can't be sure. I used what I could find on the wiki which matched what I got from the help command

Deleted31005User
Well, perhaps its best if you wait until the GECK is out and then you can make your own little mod where you search for every single bobblehead and magazine and place them all in vault 111 instead. But you would have to search for every single interior where they are originally located, so this can take quite a while for you to finish. Be quiet nobody wants to hear your logic and common senseYeah you should be quite as well tbh, I'm getting tired of your semi-trollish comments all over this forum.
