DimosZargarda Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 Hey guys, just recently found out bout Settlers beeing Synth Spies, downloaded a mod that allows me to see them, however everytime I gently blow out their brains the entire settlement attacks me, so instead ive been sending them to an empty settlement. Was trying to google why my settlers are damm unhappy all the time, someone mentioned Synth Spies, they pretend to be settlers, then cause s#*! around, like breaking some food plants and turrets. Was mindblown rofl. I guarantee you that if you have a settlement with atleast 15 Settlers, thers a synth spy among them, can either kill them and search their bodies for synth component or get that mod that gives you glasses to see them. I like it much more this way, the network only indicates which settlements have been infiltrated but offer no other options to magically see which settler is a synth(glasses), or other immersion breaking stuff like mentioning the attacks even before they happen.And then I have to manually build those tesla traps (which only work one time each) to find the actual synth spy.So overall this is the most immersive thing I could come up with without feeling like I'm actually cheating somehow. If you want my edited version of "Settlement Aid Program" that only shows you the 'SSD network' and the 'Synth Spy detection' then just send me a PM and I'll share it with you, though it is based on the Hard version where you need to have certain perks and also construct the scanners yourself and then drop them in each workbench of your settlements. If I starts, I go to settlements, and after questioning roughly five settlers, I'll find one who who cannot trade. RIP synth. Dunno what good are syth component are for, though. Used it on Covenant which had no problems. I then moved over to the Drive-In where I had a pretty good place going in the middle of everything. I had about 22 settlers there, set up the trap / detector. Turns out 3 were Synth Infiltrators, including the guy I had running the clothing store, and I had them destroyed. The funny part? After I finish off the 3rd infiltrator, I face right and I see a Provisioner from one of my other Settlements that just happened to walk in when I activated the detector had fallen over from the device.
