Potentially good place for a player home.

I have a huge building at coastal cottage, no settlers all to myself, no problem with attacks just the occasional wandering raider, bloatfly taken care of very quickly by 10 missile turrets. Untill the ck is released just find a empty settlement and do not build a recruitment beacon, 80 hours in and all of my other settlements have been attacked except coastal cottage.

Once the ck is released i have no doubt we will have a playerhome Prydwyn or constitution at sea, All the empty buildings in Boston will be used to make the city bigger, clean it up, push the raiders and supermutants out. Probably a few new skyscrappers for player home, it will be good :-)

Found some nice and quite places in the city ruins while playing earlier. They are really suitable for a player home, mostly in back alleys. And there already are many places in the city ruins where Scavengers have been or are still living, so a player home would fit in there.

Once I will have made a pretty decent, standard player home and familiarized myself with the new Creation Kit I will surely try out something crazy. Like mentioned in the comments above, Fallout 4 is giving many assets and opportunities do do something crazy. And I am really excited to see what other modders will create.

Hope it would not be intrusive if I put this question here:

Someone said there is a cave right below Red Rocket station (the only a short walk from Sanctuary). Wiki does mention it too. But I can't seem to find it. And they make it sound so obvious. Do you guys know? If so can you kindly point out how to get there? I thought Red Rocket is my home (and it's such a tiny place) but this illusive cave still elude me.

The entrance to the cave is Southwest from the Red Rocket Truckstop. There is a small dirt path leading to it. Exit the Red Rocket Truckstop through the Garage door, turn left around the corner and then go to the other corner of the building and then on the right side there will be the start of the small dirt path. If you haven't cleared up the area then there should be roadblocks and other objects at the start of that path. Follow the path downhill and it will lead you to the entrance. There also is a lot of wreckage, like barrels or tires around that path.

If you want to make home that allows fast travel. Dark fox on YouTube has a scripting series. The very first three should clear a lot of fog about how to do it.

My main aim is to change the settlements that already have NPCs to legit towns myself. So I can't wait for next patch to be drop to start taking notes.
