Username0815
In my recent game, I decided to let strong take one of the more dangerous supply routes between Starlight Drive In and Graygarden. However I encountered him in Cambridge Plaza fighting a deathclaw, then Polymer Labs fightings super mutants and even in Covenant standing around. Anyone else saw this? Either the whole routing for the provisioners is kinda wonky or is he just an exeption?
robhartman9
I think the poor guy is just lost without your guidance. I never thought of assigning followers to provision. I just send them all to one place so I can find them if I need their expertise for a mission.

JuJooGuppy
This is a perfect idea! I need to do this.. every time I go to a settlement he is at, he does NOT STFU. He literally spews dialogue after dialogue, back to back to back endlessly. Its really, really annoying lol.
Zero7Sum
I've encountered the same bug in my game. Only, it isn't only Strong that is affected; every provisioner is. I suspect this is a common bug, but is rarely noticed given the nature of how provisioners work in the game. I have Sheffield assigned to a supply line between the Castle and Bunker Hill, yet I've encountered him sitting around at Abernathy Farm, standing in the middle of Warwick Homestead, helping me defend Jamaica Plain, and fighting around Greentech. I have Strong carrying supplies between the Castle and Spectacle Island (I suspect this is broken itself, since there are no paths to the island), yet I've found him at Nordhagen and Sanctuary so far. Interestingly, Strong is the only companion I've ever been able to assign settlement tasks to without the use of console commands. The other day I decided to follow a provisioner I have assigned between Starlight Drive-In and Covenant and another I have set up between Sunshine Tidings and Abernathy Farm to make some notes on how their ai works, and found that it is definitely very peculiar. Often, provisioners will just stop in their tracks and stand idle for long periods of times while their brahim runs around helter-skelter all over the map to other towns or buildings, or they may simply turn around and head back to their own settlement before finishing the trade run. Provisioners don't stand around in a settlement for more than 30 seconds real-time. All of this definitely explains why a lot of people have a hard time fast-traveling to their settlement when a provisioner is visiting.
