Editing and making animations.

So I have been looking around for a program that would allow me to export the .HKX files that house and control the animations. All the sites I find tell me to download the Havok tools, which cannot be downloaded anymore. Could any animator help point me in the right direction? The reason I ask, is the iron sights on a weapon are controlled by the weapon animations. Without editing or making new animations, no new weapon mod can be released that doesn't screwed up iron sights. I refuse to release my M4, M14 and USP .45 mods until I can zero their sights. :D

Some animation can be done in Nifskope

I don't mean to be grammar police, but it's really bugging me to read "threw" when you mean "through", or "thru".

 

In regard to animated DDS, I want to see more of it in game. It should be resource saving to use animated DDS (like a video playback) instead of piling objects on top. Things like rain droplets on windows, on water puddles, dripping sweats (or rain) on characters' skins, distant waterfall, etc.... can use animated DDS.

 

But I think OP is talking about actual motion captured kind of animations.

Currently a lot of weapon animations can be done threw .dds/texture/material animations (from glowing, pulsing, to even scopes and animated cross hairs)

I think outside of that, unless you have the havok tools previously available, you're stuck copying other pre-existing weapons animations/havok and making yours fit to it.

He can someone say me why when i import example a .hkx file that more than 13kb is in ToolStandAlone.exe it crashing but lower it dont crash??

 

Edit: forgott to say only skleton.hkx that more than 13kb it crashing and also all other files but only the animations files dont crashing.

 

When somebody think it dont working with new animation here i think the man has change the animation because i dont seen them before

Probably want to start a new thread.

Also, from what it looks like, they didnt edit any animations. Just someone who's good at video editing made those.
