What is possible as Premium/paying member?

First, I would like to suggest to remove the "Life-time membership"

option. Nexus is worth of yearly payment.

 

As Premium member, do I get access to all Nexus sites (TES/FO3/FNV)?

 

Can I pay with Visa/MasterCard directly? Pay to bank account?

 

Premium membership sounds like a time-saver for a downloader like me.

But can I save time (move time from downloading to modding) even more:

 

May I download files and images with "wget"? "wget <direct file url>".

I would download file and image pages, and check urls manually, and

download only new files and images.

 

Now, as regular member, I check all interesting mods by their name,

download their files and all images. I keep up the last download

date so that I avoid downloading files and images twice.

I would like to automatice the downloading part of this process.

 

The problems are that I have hundreds of mods in my list and that

I have only a couple of hours of interactive Internet time per week.

I have 24/7 Internet time which could be used by running a download

script (a list of wgets with enough sleep between).

These are some great suggestions, I've been thinking about this too, because I have so many mods that they become hard to manage.

 

There's a point where I can't recall whether I've endorsed a file I wish to support, but where browsing through my history becomes tedious to the point that I feel guilty about the waste of precious time.

 

I would like to look at different account management options that can help automate this type of personal management. Tracking helps but doesn't completely solve the update issue. I think when the site is redesigned we may be able to come up with a host of new features, so hearing suggestions is always welcome.

i was wondering if it would be possible for a master login, like log into the forums and if you visit a link from the forums to the regular mod sites it would have you logged in there. or something like that

Unfortunately not, the site needs to know that you are logged in before you are allowed to download from the Premium Server, and wget doesn't make use of cookies or anything so it won't work :(

Actually, wget does support cookies. Extracting them from the clutches of your browser, however, is left as an exercise for the reader :)
