Thor.
I doubt my PS3 will ever be allowed anywhere near the internet again, I'm busy changing passwords on just about everything in case I've used the same one for PSN. I'm also trying to think what other info I've given Sony, I can't check because I still can't sign into PSN. The scary thing is as soon as it comes back online our accounts could be hijacked if they've got the passwords. Your right Jim, good thing i only use my Hotmail account for stuff like that. I use mainly for signing up to sites and the odd chat. Nothing personal is in it. I could just simply change it if psn goes live again. thats a ifhttp://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif
JimboUK
http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/apr/26/playstation-network-hackers-data?commentpage=last#end-of-comments 77 million users, well done Sony. @Thor The other half told me she remembered me having the card in my hand while using the PS3, I don't remember it but as I can't sign in to check I've cancelled the card just in case. It's a good job I've got cash in the house. I'm absolutely furious about this, not only could they have my card details they may well have our names, our address, our phone number and our dates of birth. JimboUK
Someone on another forum pointed out Sony also store a security question and answer, I have no idea what one I used and if it's the same as the bank and elsewhere.

Vindekarr
With all due respect to Sony, this is pathetic. How on earth could this be allowed to happen. Secondly, Anonymous cant really be very smart people. As "activists" they intend to preach a particular ideal by gathering public support. Nuking the Sony network, rending 77,000.000 people unable to use their own property, and publishing their personal information on the internet is like trying the raise awareness for animal cruelty by torturing bears in public, or raising money for public hospitals by burning down orphanages! Kinda counter-productive, anonymorons. And anyway, it's hideously amoral, these are civilians with no connection to Sony save that they use Sony products, they arent the ones who had the man Anonymous claims is innocent arrested, Sony did, hacking these people's personal hardware is tantamount to cyber-terrorism and does nothing to preach their own goals. I hope that when and if anonymous is brought to justice, that they are made to suufur, for suffuring is very much deserved for such amoral and selfish actions as theirs. Luminiari
Don't blame Anon as a whole. They clearly didn't do it (they aren't smart enough to pull off anything larger than a DDoS, for the love of God!). This is the work of a very small group of people. Don't forget, Anon is comprised of gamers just like you and I. And Anon is PISSED. Rest assured that if the culprit is ever found, Anon will be on their arse faster than a morbidly obese child on cake. /Not sympathising with Anon. Just being logical. antonkr
Anonymous is not one person nor is it a group. There are people that are stupid and think claiming they are anonymous while giving away all their information is 'cool'. There are also people there that are capable of doing it. The group has no control, one or two people can do it and say that it was 'anonymous' plan' @VindeCatching anonymous is impossible. Although I know very much of them I am not part of their group, I know a lot about them. Anyone can be a member there is no website no leadership no nothing. You just either consider yourself anonymous or you don't.
