Crash every time I open settlement menu

I hadn't changed anything then a few days ago my entire settlement menu can not be accessed and just crashes the game. I have then used LOOT and FO4Edit to no avail. I am not very familiar with FO4Edit and making my own patches. However, I see others with very similar load orders and it works for them. Some of my structures are gone the one's that alternate settlements used I think or it could be the walls underneath are gone and therefore the wallpaper. I was using SSex as well but thought stopping would help. Any help would be a great help. Thanks

Homemaker - Greenhouse and Bunker Disabler SK.esp=1 only enable this Disabler, disable all the others.

 

Homemaker SK Integration.esp=1 <-- left from a previous installation? Disable this one, the other one above seems to be the current one.

 

You should get the latest version of Snap'N Build + the separate SK port. It will overwrite the .esm and you will have to disable all S'nB .esp files.

Snap and Build - Capsule.esp=1 <- remove it, it is included in SnB 1.5

Snap and Build - Modules.esp=1 <- disable with SnB 1.5 + SK port

Snap and Build - Patches.esp=1 <- disable with SnB 1.5 + SK port

Snap'n Build - SK patch.esp=1 <- won't exist in SnB 1.5

 

Also make sure, you use the latest version 0.2.2 of Weapon Racks

 

Load order afterwards should be:

If still having CTDs on workshop menus afterwards, copy over the \mesh folders of your workshop mods manually, since NMM sometimes has issues installing these correctly.

I really appreciate you helping me out.

 

The Homemaker SK Integration.esp must have been from a previous version because I was not sure why it was there or why the SnB.esp's where all on. Like I said I have been messing with for so long this I needed a fresh perspective. I ran through FO4edit and found no errors. I did find homemaker just make a small patch yesterday however Every time I start my settlement menu immediately it crashes. If it is the meshes would it help deleting any out of the settlement menu? If not should I try say just Homemaker manually first? I used to have all this or most and SSex and it worked so I am baffled. Could it be something else. I hate to so something this complex and large. Due to it being updated and if i want to erase it, its impossible to find every mesh and texture of every item lol. Again any more ideas would mean a lot. I did finally get the menu organized and error free so thank you. Another question I have a plugin say Busty.esp but I deleted that file so why is it there? Also Homemaker just came out with 1.32e yesterday so I will load that. Is it ok to have a plugin turned off or do you have to delete them. I always kept them in case but maybe that is wrong?

Remove this and get one of the standard versions instead. This was made for non-SK versions of Homemaker. You had it disabled in your original load order, hence why I didn't comment on it in the first place.

Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp=0

 

Judging from the names, you still have the wrong/old one enabled. Try disabling the first and enabling the second one.

 

 

Apart from that, disabling should be fine most of the times. But the clean way, especially when updating a mod, is to first uninstall it from all profiles and remove it via NMM and afterwards install the new version unless the mod/file description says to do differently.

 

And about the Busty.esp, I can only guess, but either you just disabled the mod and didn't uninstall and remove it, or the file itself still resides in \Fallout 4\data due to some error when uninstalling/removing. In that case, just delete it manually.

 

SSex is to be considered abandoned and has some issues. It also has almost nothing that isn't in Homemaker, so my advice on that is: don't try using it again and remove it.

I completely agree qith wax2k. SSex was a good mod a month or so ago, but is long outdated and typically causes many more problems than it is worth. You can basically get everything you need from other mods that are already on board with Settlement Keywords.

Dump all your settlement mods. Go back to the Nexus, and reacquire them. That would be best. And if there is still a CTD, dump them again, and just use SSex. What the average user needs is a simple mod, not 6 mods and a resource that the average modder won't use.
