Kessler40 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I'd like some armor pieces not to be available only to certain vocations. Is this possible?
Mesjach007 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Yes, via Cheat Engine! http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=586957Ps. Sorry for not telling you the page it is on, I've forgot it -.- read the thread and you will find what you're looking for along with sucha great things as normal running in wilderness and rolling wthout a dagger(beta) Edited February 1, 2016 by Mesjach007
DeMocha Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Its on the first page of the above link, just a few posts down. Its basically a trainer, the option you want is Ignore Equipment Vocation Restriction as part of 'Edit 19' which has the instructions for its use. Edited February 1, 2016 by DeMocha
Kessler40 Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Doesn't work for me. Even reading the other posts in that thread from people that have the same issue as me and a fix someone gave, it still won't work. Besides it seems like the game will unequip the armor when you load the save. I want to know if this can actually be modded into the game, and not "cheated in" .
jared19 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 from that thread: EDIT27: updated [ignore Equipment Vocation Restriction], it works in NPC equip menu now. i.e., equip from shop, equip from storage, equip right after changing vocation. EDIT19: updated [ignore Equipment Vocation Restriction]- loading savegame won't de-equip the "illegal" equipment anymore. - remember you need to activate this script BEFORE you load a savegame (better yet, activate the script before you get pass the "Press Any Key" screen when you first start the game). - some graphic glitch may occur sometime, e.g. when equipping heavy weapon and longbow together, when you attack with the heavy weapon, you'd swing with both the heavy weapon and the longbow together. - not thoroughly tested. EDIT18: added [ignore Equipment Vocation Restriction] - you can equip anything, ignoring vocation restriction. - e.g. Ranger can use a sword. as long as you've been using Share Weapons' Skills already, you should be able to use the sword skills you've learnt and equipped already. - the "illegal" equipments (that you can't equipped with your current vocation without this script) would be unequipped upon save/reload. either the "illegal" equipment won't be saved into the savegame, or the "illegal" equipment won't be loaded from the savegame. or both. not sure yet.
Evilwarlord Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 It seems that the cheat engine table is now outdated and no one on the website is yet to update (Unless i missed the update post?) so using that will no longer remove class restrictions
jared19 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Hmm, are you're using the 1st post table? Yes that one is outdated. Scroll down to the 6th post, by Cielos. That one is updated constantly. Last time I dl it, about 2-3 days ago, it's edit 28. Now it's edit 31. The "Ignore Equipment Vocation Restriction" has been updated again.
textitexto Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 No more cheat engine needed you can just use that mod http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/96/?
Kessler40 Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Okay. thanks for that, it works, and is exactly what i wanted.
