zekevalentine
This Is for the must have mods that haven't been made. (if you see a post by someone about a mod that has been made kindly post them a link) I made this in hopes someone would Make the hardcore Setting from fallout New Vegas. It would be perfect for FO4especially with the rest of the great realism mods on Nexus. The hardcore mode would be the finishing touchon making all who say it's more of an FPS realize it's way more than that. Another mod that would be great to be made is the return of Karmaalthough it did get annoying at times. It could be improved to allow the player to side with raiders and make settlements from their existing ones. Then the edition to be able to go with raid parties to"good" settlements as well as protecting your settlement from Minutemen, Brotherhood of steel, and other do gooders. Any other mods to improve gameplay, immersion, and realism.
Boombro
A karma system doesn't allow you to join raiders, but quests.A raider faction can simply make you prove yourself first, by using dialogue conditions or or perks and special.
AeonsLegend
Karma introduces realism? So your invisble karma affects how people that don't know you treat you? My wife played Fallout 3 in the following manner:Hey I need the evil party member. I'm going to sneak and steal items until I have enough negative karma so I can hire him. Wait, you stole items and no one saw you do it, but this guy somehow knows you're a bad person? That makes 0 sense. Anyway, Fallout was never about realism or immersion. It was about humor, storytelling and irony.

It was about humor, storytelling and irony."See that guy? He bombed a town. What an asshole. "Same guy the next day."See that guy? He gave that homeless 18382 water bottles. What a hero." The other main problem is it doesn't take into account what you do in depth. Like those talon guys, they talk like was I hunting bad guys for cash. What if I gave the homeless 18382 water bottles? Same thing. The only karma system that made sense to me, is Skyrim bounty system. If it not like it, I don't want it. Karma system doesn't change your character in anyway after all. TritonEXE
Imp's More Complex Needs. I love the Morale and Appeal system that Skyrim had, as well as things such as Protein and Nutrients. More cooking recipies. Also, I really want to see a mod that makes it to where cooked food and even pre-war food become an actually viable option more later-game. That stuff practically becomes useless later-levels. Perhaps it being as simple as adding a perk. It could be under the 'Endurance' section. An idea;1 - Pre-War food and drink restore 25% more health.2 - Pre-War food and drink restore 50% more health.3 - Pre-War food and drink restore 75% more health.4 - Pre-War food and drink restore twice as much health. Or a perk that makes it to where these foods restore a certain percentage of your health, instead of a fixed number.

ahnjd
I was thinking something like Skyrim Frostfall where weather can play an effect. Then I was thinking of Don't Starve where not only can cold affect you, but you can overheat too. There is a seasons mod, and some how if you can make a temperature mod that reacts with the seasons, that would be neat.

Skyrim has a lot of wide space, high level areas etc. In fo4, you don't need a tent, you always find a bed here or there since the map is so dense. It would not be that hard. And changing seasons? Changing textures, effects and modles mid game? The real shelter team of Skyrim is trying something like it. But it hard, it so hard it like fighting a white deathclaw by bashing it with a pipe pistol at level one.

You right, everything is dense, but inside certain buildings can have variation of ambient temperatures that will make the player need to cool down or stay warmer. It just adds that extra challenge. There is already a mod with seasons, I don't know the extent of scripting to get it to work with the calendar day like when you walk around Diamond City around Christmas, there is Christmas decorations. Boombro
FO4 has rads, which I think is more fitting to add depth to instead of a frostfall like mod. The problem with FF is that hardly a problem at high levels, heavily scripted and needs a whole game change. Rads are already a thing, you have gear for them, there is storms, meds and already part of the game. Why not radfall? Some static items that appear around a specific time is not that hard, but changing seasons is a whole another matter. You are changing:Models.Textures and shaders.Sound.Effects. The hardest part is the textures.
