SpellAndShield
As much as it saddens me, i say this is a good thing. I dont want ME3 to be a fail just because EA wants the prize sooner. Hint hint DA2. YUP. QFT x100
Halororor
And here I thought it was related to how ME2 was dumbed down from ME. It's because, in the next 3 pages of the thread, there's a 90% chance a discussion is going to erupt about how 'consolized' and 'dumbed down' ME2 was in comparison to ME1. It's inevitable. :P
SpellAndShield
Seriously, if this spares us another DA2, waiting is a good thing.
ub3rman123
Just in case anyone is curious, Mass Effect is 75% off on Steam, and Mass Effect 2 (both normal and Digital Deluxe Edition) are 50% off (today only). In case you have never played it... but I'm guessing that most of you reading this thread already have... Huh.. I've never tried either.. Which is more worth the money? Probably should start with one anyways.

However, that being said, I would also recommend buying the second, so you can see just how well your Shepard fares through an RPG epic.
SpellAndShield
You can get ME2 these days for a paltry $15...great price.

Unfortunately, while the tedium of planet-scanning in the second one can be fixed with a mod, the Mako in the first one cannot be. :(
Thor.
YAY for my copy, came with voucher for nearly all dlc. Except overlord and a few newer ones that came out recently. Edited May 7, 2011 by Thor.

The removal of the Mako was the biggest plus ME2 had. The hovercraft thingymabob you pilot in one of the DLCs is much better than the Mako, and is isn't subject to the ability of defying gravity in stunts that defy the laws of physics. :P
