Hi everybody,

sorry if this issue has been already reported, i didn't find any subject that solve my loosing shops issue. And i've readed a lot since a few days.

The story : after modding my game and before the last patch was released, i was enjoying the wonderfull communauty's work in the Commonwealth.

Since the patch has been applied, nevermind wich mod is installed : if it gots any Settlement Keywords adds, the shops disappear !!! But the once i've installed on any settlement still work well and can be moved or recycled.

The Settlement Keyword patch or change mod order don't give any support.

I've just used my last 2 days to diable every mod and re-enable it once by once.

Can't use anymore Homemaker, OCDecorator, NX pro Farming, Business Settlement, Alternate Settlement...

Even if i disable only the SK adds from the mod, it doesn't work and my shops

Does someone know any solution for this issue ?

EDIT : i'm using the NMM files install version

Did you try deleting Homemaker's Keyword section using FO4edit?

Make sure to follow http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3767665-ten-rules-to-get-a-mod-setup-with-a-lot-of-workshop-crafting-mods-to-work/ completely and thoroughly.

And report back including your then new load order, if still having issues afterwards.

I use all the mods you mentioned (and some more) with the latest Fallout retail patch and I don't have the issues you describe, so it is possible when done right.

It takes a lot more than that. Just deleting the keywords still leaves formID lists and COBJ records with bad references (since they are pointing to the no longer existent keywords). If you are lucky, the overwrite of the COBJ files by the patch will keep prevent a CTD. The remaining references in the FormIDlists probably will cause issues.

The quickest way to do it properly, is:

1) Open FO4Edit, and deselect everything but settlementkeywords, homemaker, the the sk patch.

2) Right click Fallout4.esm, set it to hidden.

3) Open the constructible object section, delete all the references that have a yellow background (you can select records in groups in FO4edit).*

4) Once that is done, go into the patch, right click the constructible object section, and select "Deep copy as override" into Homemaker.esm (it will ask you if you want to make SettlementKeywords.esm a master file for Homemaker, say yes

5) Open up the keyword section of homemaker, and select the first keyword homemaker added (ignore the ones with 00 at the beginning).

5a) Down at the bottom of the info display about the record, there should be a tab that says "Referenced by". Select that tab.

6) You will see a list of the records that reference that keyword. At this point, it should just be either formID lists or art objects (FLST and ARTO). You want to go into those records, and delete the references to Homemaker's keywords.**

7) Once you have finished that, double check that none of the keywords Homemaker added have the "Referenced By" tab. Once you have removed all references to the keywords, then you can delete them without worrying about it causing issues.

 If you want, you can delete any FLST records that are now empty, but it shouldn't be necessary. If you want to just disable the patch after you are done, you definitely want to delete the vanilla formID lists (the ones that start with 00) from Homemaker, as those overwrite the changes made by SettlementKeywords. You can also delete the vanilla keywords from homemaker, as they change the category names a little.

*You can just delete the entire Constructible Object section from Homemaker.esm instead of manually deleting records, but you'll lose a lost of stuff the mod makes craftable (everything that used a vanilla keyword in the default Homemaker)

**If you are ever doing something like this for other mods (i.e. integrating compatibility patches), you want to be careful just deleting references. It doesn't matter here, as the references in the FormID lists just add items with those keywords to various crafting categories, and the references in the Art Object records just tell the game where to use those icons. Most of the time, you have to replace a reference with another keyword, or it will either cause stability issues or just not show up in the game.

If you notice any other issues with a mod (beyond stuff being missing from crafting, that is a well known bug, which SK and AWKCR were designed to fight), try uninstalling and reinstalling the mod first. After the patch, I had several mods where records were just gone from the plugin, causing CTDs when another record tried to reference them, and many people have noted textures being messed up by the patch.

I have no idea why a patch to the base game would randomly delete records from mod plugins, but I don't see how else it could have happened.

Thanks for the info. Just deleting the keyword sections in Homemaker.esm and Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp worked perfectly for me.
