mac2636
NMM is basically locking up since my last update. I am running Windows 10. Randomly gets stuck loading, and randomly freezes after opening. It may be a Windows 10 issue for me as it basically locks up Windows and I have to restart to get Windows working again, but I can run any other programs almost without issue. Anyone else having similar issues?
mac2636
Looks like the issue mey be with NMM amd Zone Alarm. Disabling Zone Alarm seemed to fix the issue. Does this seem likely?
wax2k
Possibly, for example when NMM tries to access or move a file that is currently locked by Zonealarm or any other security software. Have you tried waiting for some minutes when it occurs? Edited February 12, 2016 by wax2k
mac2636
Thanks for responding. You're gem you are. Waiting sometimes helps but not always. I actually think I am going to downgrade back to Windows 7 and see if that helps. Windows 10 is actually pretty buggy for me especially on startup, even if I change power management pci settings as well as many other suggested tips for its startup bugs. wax2k
Haven't even bothered thinking about migrating to Win10 yet and have refused and removed all of Microsoft's annoying attempts to get my attention. Win7 will stay as long as it runs so flawlessly on my system  Edited February 13, 2016 by wax2k

They did just as well on my pc once I went to Win 10, but needless to say the extra headaches are so not worth it. Back to Windows 7 now and everything is working well again.
