Head06 Asiatic

This is a little project I'm doing that hopefully a few others might join in with, but it seems like right now it's going to be a resource.

 

Here's some comparison images (old head):

Here's the .blend file, I'll probably seperate this into NIFs once the eyelashes are done...

Head06 Asiatic

 

As what needs to be done?


  •  
  • Eyelashes
  • NIF exports
  • Emotion morphs
  • TRI files
  • EGM files
  • Textures (Most H06 textures don't work very well for this head)
     

I'm hoping someone more experienced than me will do the emotion morphs and some of the EGM and TRI files, otherwise there will be a lot of reading up on and trial and error for creating those files and morphs for quite possibly several days...

I'm pretty much done with the head at this point. It is currently incomplete; All the files are there, and I've included what should be a blank .tri file for anyone who wants to try their hand at making morphs. The eye morphs are wrong as well, but you might be able to fix that by taking the imperial eyes and positioning them in the right place in NifSkope, and save them as the new eyes.

Noob to this, so what's the difference between creating new head and using FG "racial" cursors? Is it this way we start with a nice head and the rest is morph of it so it's better looking around your chosen aspect?

Well, there's about a $299 difference... So I just modified one of the existing heads.

 

Mmm forget about the limitation of free version... Well good luck then! If nobody can help after a while, PM me and I'll try to see if I can learn how it works, I may use new emotions so it could come in handy.

ziitch, I don't know if you've seen this tutorial or not but you might find it useful.

without losing your morphs or your mind

The main thing about it is that it shows you how to import and export head06 in a way that allows your edited mesh to work with the vanilla egt egm and tri files and keeps all it's facial morphs, so you don't have to do it all from scratch.

 

Now on the other hand, if you really want to have all new facial morphs then I guess you should just ignor me.:)

RGMage2 is on point.

 

Even if you have to kinda start over, you have the complete template of your mesh to work against, so you just have to go through the motions of moving all the verts to match back up in world space to recreate you asian head... with a version that hasn't fubared the vertex number index. imo it would be less work than actually recreating the morphs for it and getting it all back into game....
