firstlegacy
Just got starting playing Fallout 4 3 days ago.And wanted to know what list of mods, that are really must have that changes, immersive/environment/bug-fixes/improvements without adding new modwhile I'm still playing along with it. PS: this is actually my first time playing a Fallout series, I'm to lazy to play previous fallout so I'll just jump to Fallout4. Descivii
Im really diggin the CROSS Cybernetics with either Courser suit or Nano suit underneath. Courser by nsk13 & deserterX or Nano 5.0 by Vasstek (sp?) I forget the author's name for CROSS but it pops if you search "CROSS"
HazaRd777
Only a few I'd really say are "must-have", although there are a lot of good mods that have come out already. I'd say start out with these ones: - Full Dialog Interface: Changes the dialog options to be more like FO3 or FONV in that you can read the whole line before you select it.- True Storms: Adds better weather affects to the game. Increases immersion for me. Also "Darker Nights" goes well with this.- Homemaker: Adds more settlement item options, new buildings, stuff like that. SSEx is similar, but I think this one has more compatibility options for other mods.- Any texture overhaul mod: I'm honestly satisfied with the game's graphics but if you want it to look better, there's a few you can choose from. Just look in the top endorsed texture section.- CBBE: Great female body texture mod. Gives you better female textures and models. If you don't want naked characters, there's a never-nude option too. That's what I'd say to start out with. I'll download mods that I find interesting, but the one's that are must-have are usually those that improve the UI, graphics, performance, and gameplay. Modders are now bringing in some really high quality standalone weapon/armor mods as well. For those I'd suggest to just browse around and see what you find interesting. HazaRd777
I would avoid anything from ddproductions83. I heard he isn't cool af at all. Nah, seriously though, Homemaker, Snap-n-Build, and anything from ddproductions83 are pretty much the best settlement building mods you can find right now. Gruffydd
If you really get into settlement building, Homemaker and SnB are excellent. If you're OCD about your settlements, and want everything you place to stay right where it is supposed to, check out OCDecorator by mcface. A mod that goes well with them is Business Settlements, which adds in a bunch of signs from various places in the game, as well as some new signs and other stuff.I've also recently added a mod as well that adds more signs and posters, but all are new, using only the meshes from in-game while creating new signs. It's called Gruffydd's Signs and Posters. If you like listening to radio, try the Old World Radio mod from brandoman and neeher. Some awesome stuff, with lots of voice acting for the DJs and suchlike. Another mod that I like is Worsin's Immersive Power Armor Paint Garage, but as it adds paint jobs for power armors, it pretty much removes the significance of finding the paint job magazines, so on your first play through, depending on preference, you might not want to use it.
