Anyone else seen this movie preview trailer?

Death's Sweet Embrace

Well, first thing this morning I went to the movie theater and saw the nine am showing of Transformers.

It was a kickass movie.

Anyway, they had a preview for an untitled movie.

It said it was coming out sometime in January.

In the beginning of the trailer, a going away party is being thrown for Rob (I think thats the name).

Everything is being filmed by a guy at the party, and suddenly asteroids start hitting buildings.

So, everyone is running around trying to avoid getting smashed by asteroids or something.

The preview is very vague.

The only word I remember from the like, less than two second credits part is "Bad Robot" but that is the name of a production company. (Produced Lost)

I would like to find this trailer on youtube.

I was wondering if anyone else saw this?

Are you sure you really wanna call Hollywood (actually California in general) part of America?

Hollywood (California in general) IS part of America, so I would say that he is pretty sure that he wants to call it part of America

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Robot
Bad Robot and J.J. Abrams are currently working on project, currently named Cloverfield set to come out in 2008. There was a teaser trailer for this film at the beginning of the film Transformers.

Okay, thanks man.

Cloverfield?

Hmm.

I was honestly hoping it wasn't another damn Godzilla movie.

I was hoping it was like, a giant robot or some other thing.

Anything but a Godzilla giant dinosaur thing.

:/

Oh well.

It still looks good.

And yes, he is allowed to call Hollywood and California part of America because it IS part of America.

People speculate is that is some kind of monster movie. I don't think that it's really a Godzilla movie.

Yeah.

Hmm.

The roar sounds godzilla-ish.

This movie trailer has all the godzilla fans going crazy.

I'm sure its just a plain old monster movie.

The home video filming aspect has me wanting to see it though.

Usually not too fond of monster movies.

  • 2 weeks later...

friends and I are praying that it's Cthulhu

It would be great to finally see a good rendition of the Sleeping One on the big screen.

plus, it finally gives me a reason to run down the street shouting "I'a! Cthulhu F'tagn!".

besides, the horror side of hollywood is in desperate need of something original...
