MidbossVyers
Do I need them for this, though?
MidbossVyers
Are those extra files needed for this particular fix? In other words, when I was running the installer, it says that it was missing certain requirement. All the check boxes were of something related to Python. Do I check them if I have them or if I don't have them? Edited May 26, 2011 by MidbossVyers
MidbossVyers
If you have wrye bash, go to the saves tab, select the save you want to load, on the right somewhere, will be a window with the "masters" for that save. Find Horse Combat Master, uncheck it, then click the "save" button. (might wanna back up your save first.....) Try loading it again.Well, I finally got Wrye Bash working, so I went to the check boxes on the right of the saves that I want to load and I Disabled the Horse Combat Master, thereby adding XX in front of it. However, when I tried to load those save files, they still crashed. I don't know how to enable those disabled Masters (remove the XX), but that doesn't matter because either way my saves won't load. Ugh, what has Deadly Reflex done...Edit: I even tried to delete all version of Deadly Reflex from my game, along with disabling it in Wrye Bash. Nothing is working. Why this mod... MichikoUnknownFox
Wait, first of all, you really should've done a clean save, and made at least one backup save before you switched to DR6. Don't just upgrade using the same save file. Uninstall 6, load an earlier save file. Much earlier, if necessary. Save again. This will hopefully remove all references to a non-existent mod (DR6). Then reinstall 5, and run that latest save again. That should work. - edit: Always always always have a backup save file before installing any major mods. A major mod for me is anything that doesn't just replace textures or add clothes or NPCs. Anything that has scripting basically. This is for just in case, after testing the mod for a few hours/days, you can roll back to your old save file after uninstalling the "major mod" with little or no ill effect. MidbossVyers
Right now, I have removed all version of Deadly Reflex, as well as disabling it on Wrye Bash. The saves won't load, regardless. Also, I've noticed that when you disable something in Wrye Bash, it just puts XX into front of it. Would somehow removing it entirely help the situation? If so, how do I do it?
