Anyone know where that red dress is above?

I started with the New Vegas Hispanic race (because sunny is this race)

Adding eyelashes now. Then maybe HGEC is what it's called, which ever one matches the dress I reckon.

Didn't find the hair inside that Synx mod either. There's a similar an one that's up, I wouldn't call it desert wear, LOL.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23589 I think this is the dress, right?

Idk I'll look in a minute.

Pooped out a custom race, based on the Hispanic race, because I know some of the facegen is pretty useable as far as base shape.

Noticed that many of the female was missing eyebrows (I'm not kidding) LMAO! So I extracted the meshes an textures, creating a new path an set.

This can be edited later if needed, also did the same for Eyelashes. These were started by the basic structure of the mod thru folders.

Meshes/SynxPort731/Female/Eyelashyz/Eyelashyz.NIF

Textures/SynxPort731/Female/Eyelashyz/Eyelashyz.DDS

Everything for the mod will go inside SynxPort731 as the project folder, though it will get split up into what those parts actually do, such as the female folder, which further is spilt up into seperate pieces.

Added those head parts to the Female facegen presets, master udpated it an went in-game an took the picture, tested the presets to see they were useable, saw that eyebrows work on these characters now as well as the lashes, and saw that generaly the skintones didn't match, but there's some great white tones in there, I think what will happen is that I'll paste in Sunny Smiles skintone to all 10 females. The face here is number 10, an was edited real quick, if you wanted to get her better looking shape wise you'd have to play her an same for guys pretty much. The eyes were too wide, maybe head too wide, idk, but it can be further refined, an then put in as a facegen preset when she looks like sometin Synx I guess. Need some Synx eyes huh, I've never even played TES LMAO...

I guess it would need extreme tweaking before I accomplish my goal. So this is what it looks like converted right?

Did you have to use any texture/mesh editing programs, or just FNVEdit?

As for what I just said earlier, my goal after converting the mod is to have all of the NPCs using this race and me.

lulz, that above is the default New vegas body an head with eyebrows an eyelashes based of using the Hispanic race for a custom player Synx race. It's a test file. I didn't find that dress in that mod, If you wanted to find it in TES the game, as far as the name for it an use that to look up which mesh it uses in TES edit, then I could use it, but it's a waste of time to look for it when I dont' have the game an could be working on something.

So I quit looking for the dress after 10 minutes or so, I'm pretty sure I saw every mesh in that mod an it wasn't in there. Depends on how bad you want it, but I need something like that to size up the body as the HGEC comes in a few different sizes. That or make a mock up of the picture of the Synx in the red dress above.

This is Malika, part of an add on vendor for a clothing mod. She could be pretty, I never saw the character in-game LOL.

Anyhow The picture is here because of the eyes. The white part of this texture for eyes is the only one I ever found which yeilded good Mipmaps.

Mipmaps are tiny pictures of a texture, so it can automaticly use that when at distance in a 3D enviroment rather than calculate what it looks like at each distance.

Most eyes the mip-map will tint an bug out toward red if there is any red part added to the eye, red veins for example, so the character looks good at 2 feet, an bad at anything past that.

Also the eyes as part of the SynX mod are all in some super funky TES format, LOL an are basicly un-useable.

However what we'll do is cut the center out of Malika's eyes, then paste in the Centers we cut out of The SynX mod's eyes.

There are 4 default colors so that's where to start, Blue, Green, Brown, and Green&Brown.

This will be done with Paint.net because it's fast

Here you see the TES eyes that Synx uses or well one of them, think that's bad you should see the meshes, it's very different.

Now we have the finished product for the first color which will now work in FNV

Here you have the finished version of all 4 dropped in a JPEG. I think they are "Candy eyes" but it will work.

The only problem is that all of the eyes have a little hazel in them, green an brown.

the lower left is actually hazel, the lower right is green, so they need to be cleaned up so blue is blue an green is green.

This way hazel will pop, more, hazel by the way was created by selecting a inner circle, black an white that,

sepia it, paste a alpha layer of the brown eyes above it, an adjust the two layers darkness an color.

After that it had a hard line which was smoothed out with the finger rub tool in GIMP, kind of like smudge,

Then a smaller brush was used to drag the green into the brown randomly, making it non-symetrical, but not noticable that it was edited.

The other eyes just needed to be pasted in, in seperate layers, that way the white is before the eye, move it around, then fill in any missing pixels.

So really I only ended up creating 12 pixels between the 4, but two of them still need edits.

Also it's going to be harder to produce characters with seperate eye colors for each eye, in FO3.

I'm a bit confused, earlier you were looking for the red dress right?

Is this it?

Also, I'm very confused about some of the eye pictures and explanations. It might be because I'm tired, and so I'm going to get offline. Thanks for the help  and I hope you would be able to help me, when I get on tomorrow.

So, yep, bye.

Here is the same New Vegas body an head, with eyelashes, brows, an with ported Synx eyes.

Though the port in this case is actually a complete remake of the eye, lol using the Geechan Eyes inside Synx Race and the Malika addon eyes from Gypsywear edited with Paint.net.

The first picture is the original from above, the pictures below it are the new eyes.

Notice that the brown part hasn't been fixed yet in Blue an Green...

But also notice that the character was remade again from scratch.

It turned out similar but it looks better this time as far as shape.

This is facegen preset #10, so I'll be sure to extract that facegen data from the save game.

Yes, The creator doesn't speak english very well.

There is a V2 full available, Full means all of it,

not all of it but the tiny add on at the bottom which is this dress, lol

So dumb dumb mee didn't even look there, but I saw loads of stuff in it.

Based off this Dress, it's basicly a Type 3 body. Key reasons to go with type 3 is that there is already a vast amount of clothing that goes with it.

Also it fits with the vanilla body somewhat. There isn't really a good body for Fallout 3 or even New Vegas. Type 3 is good enough to warrent avoiding having to make a new one.

It would be a good chance to actually port in that body or make a new one, that's a lot of work though. The main problem with the bodies is that you need to cut a very difficult seam

in order to make a better body, which is a lot of work. One day it might be time to make a new one, but for now Type 3 will do just fine.

Ignore most of what I said previously as it is a bit more complex than what I generalized and I doubt it's something you and I could learn relatively quickly given the lack of information about this type of stuff. .tri files do actually need rebuilding and there are probably only a handful of people that do actually know how to do this successfully. The way GrindedStone is doing it will be your best bet as it simply uses only the textures and doesn't fumble on the complexities of these mesh files. Here is an image of what it would look like. See the neck gap? You'd have to stretch the neck to fit the Type 3 body as well as rebuild the .tri files otherwise the facial morphing will not function. If you don't, the face sort of morphs and twitches into itself when ever the character blinks. Oh, and for some reason, the eyelashes are inside the head behind the eyes. Also, there are no ears. The eyes are also glowing for some reason.

heh heh! Yeah it's a real prison feast in there for your butts. Ha, Ha Ha!

I got my butt kicked by a Oblivion mesh last night before I passed out.

I'm going to put that on the side an just get a T3 dress an skin it red.

Just too keep moving forward quickly on this junt.
