SiniVII
Okay, I installed BBB, under normal conditions it works fine! Until people start dropping dead... When they do you get the boobs stretching into the infinite issue. I do not use the ragdoll mod so that's not an issue with that. Another issue is that some races (Argonians and Orcs) get this bug under normal conditions as well! All the time to be more precise. Humans and Khajiits are okay regarding the mod though as it's only affecting argonians and orcs, but all races are affected when they are dead and in ragdoll dead mode. I tried re-installing Archive Invalidation and then adding corronoras skeleton again, didn't work. I tried the second time but the other way around, installing the skeleton first THEN the archive invalidation. Didn't work. Running out of options by now. I'm using Mayu's ANimation Overhaul, which means all NPC's have vanilla animations with an exception of personality idles4. I simply don't know what to do anymore but I am willing to do anything it takes to get it fix'd. Any clues?
David Brasher
This is one of the reasons I do not use body mods. It sounds like you are missing skeletons, but only part of the time. (The skeletons are usually correct when the actors are alive, but incorrect when certain actors are dead.) Be sure that all the body mods you use are calling for exactly the same skeletons and that they have the skeletons properly installed. You must be absolutely sure that all the body mods you are trying to use are actually compatible. You might try removing all of them and all of their meshes and textures, and then installing them one by one with adequate play-testing in between each installation. When you install the mod that breaks your game, you will know that it is the bad/incompatible/incorrectly installed mod. You can then remove that one mod and all its meshes and textures and vindictively delete the files and all backups. If you don't want a lot of work and just want to play your game, you might consider removing all your body mods and their meshes and textures and just not mess with it anymore. Ho, ho. You don't want to deny yourself one of the sweatest add-ons to Oblivion just because of simple problems, do you? ;) No. That's certainly something that can be solved. If you have this "boobs to infinity" problem then it's always the same: you use a BBBed body mesh, but the skeleton has no BBB bones. Sini, did you ever try without MAO and P.Idles4? Have you replaced MAO's skeleton with coronerra's skeleton? If you mix mods which change skeletons and animations, you always have to really know what you are doing. Body meshes are the easy part. MichikoUnknownFox
David's a good man lol. Yeah Coronerra's skeleton will work. The only reason that just the boobs would get messed up is because of BBB, and Coronerra's is the recommended skeleton for BBB. Also, if you're using Wrye Bash, make sure you uncheck the MAO option when you rebuild the bashed patch. If you don't have any clue what I just said, ignore it.
SiniVII
Thanks for the replies! @DavidPart of the fun is messing with your game to make it feel brand and new again! As for the body-mods, are you thinking about the kind like TGND, HGEC, ETC? If so the only one I use is HGEC. @foreI have been meddling with Meshes and know how to read readme's and also have done a bit of work with animation change of what works and what conflicts and how to fix those conflicts so yeah I think I know what I am doing... I think. @UNKNOWNYMOUS... Sadly I have never, ever bothered with Wrye Bash. It's just too much to read when I go to the main page, too much for me to be able to put the pieces together since mods come with such huge flexibility, which sadly adds complexity, and I know Wrye Bash is like the god of mod compatibilities... Thing, but I just sadly never saw an easy explanation that was easy to comprehend and understand. I should get hanged for not giving it another shot, but for now I'll deal without it as it's gone okay so far. . . Unless now is the time to start. ----------------------------------------------- Now when it comes to Animation mesh change, that varies a lot. I pretty much mix and match the animations from several different mods, and other NPC's dont have this BSITI (Boobs Stretching into the infinite) issue. What I am saying is that it is RACE, SPECIFIC to actors that are alive and only limited down to orcs and argonians, the other races are fine. But then a dead actor comes along, and I get the issue. I did not try without MAO's, but if I don't use MAO i'll see normal NPC's do rediculous poses and that will completely break my immersion with the game. I will try without both PI4, and MAO's to see if there is any change to the issue, possibly load up some screens if possible.
MichikoUnknownFox
It's much easier to use and install now. Well, it was actually always easy to use supposedly, but they really did a good job of scaring people away. The website [is pretty much outdated, in terms of installation instructions, and] looks kinda like something from the 90's when people were trying to make computers look complicated, minus the pointlessly flashing LED lights everywhere. But now it's as simple as installing like two packages. Back on topic, actually Personality Idles doesn't seem to change the skeleton file (there is no skeleton.nif in the package, if I'm not mistaken). It simply repositions its parts, just like any other animation mod does, without editing the actual file, so that's probably got nothing to do with it. But BBB definitely needs the right skeleton, which is Coronerra's as we keep saying. It's actually listed as a requirement in BBB's readme, including a link so you can get it.
SiniVII
Did I forget to mention that I use Corronera's skeleton already?? I'm sorry. Gonna have a closer look at MAO's, already checked personality idles and that didn't do squat! :teehee: I wonder if BBB had any updates since I last downloaded it, gonna check. MotoSxorpio
Copy the maxcompat skeleton to the MAO\Vanilla folder, as well as the beast skeleton.
MichikoUnknownFox
Don't use MAO and Coronerra simultaneously. D: They both mess with skeleton.nif, though MAO also adds other stuff if I'm not mistaken. If you use MAO, Coronerra's skeleton will be replaced by it, and BBB only works with Coronerra's (right now). Reinstall Coronerra's skeleton, and it should overwrite MAO's skeleton. You can use MAO with the BBB if you copy the BBB skeleton into MAO ( Data\Meshes\Mayu's Projects[M]\Animation Overhaul\Vanilla) folder. I do this myself, it works.
