geekpryde
When can we expect Bethsheda posting system requirements for Skyrim? I'm going to buy new PC and I'd love to run Skyrim at highest quality. I don't want to delay buying it though. Maybe you can estimate how Skyrim will run, judging by new setup: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 GHz, AM3ASUS M5A78LRadeon HD 6870 1GB4GB DDR3 1333 Hz500GB HDDWin7 Make sure you do Win7 64 bit, so when you want to jump to 6 or 8GB ram, you dont have wipe out the system. At this point, there really is no reason to ever install a 32 bit OS. A 1Tb HD is not much more than a 500GB, so you might think about that too. Lowk
Should be okay. A 6870 is more than capable, and your CPU is solid. That's pretty close to what I'm running, and I'm not worried in the least!
Med111
Thank's for aswers :) Of course I'm going to get Win7 64bit.

ginnyfizz
Good to see the AMD Phenom processors getting some love! I've got the following, just built;- AMD Phenom II X6 1100T (overclocked itself automatically to something insane like about 4.2Ghz...think that's it...)ASUS Crosshair IV Formula MotherboardSapphire ATI Radeon 6950 2048Mb (flashed to a 6970)Corsair XMS DDR3 RAM 8GBHitachi DeskStar 7200rpm 2TB HDDCoolermaster HAF 932 full tower.Windows 7 64 bit Would I gain anything from getting another matching video card? I am hoping to max Skyrim with that.
Med111
Since I may be able to max Skyrim with my setup mentioned above, then you have nothing to worry about.

A little overkill don't you think? 1500kb of that will never get used, you realise this right?

I don't listen to that Bill Gates, his company will never be more than a bit player in the operating system market.
