Oh my God. Now my computer has crashed twice, without the game running.
Ahhhh.... what's happening?!?!?! :ohmy:

 

Event logger has stopped logging errors leading to crash. Yes, ...an 1101 error.

Should I have not installed Python and given it full access?

python would not do that, it sounds to me like you are over heating, which could very well be the cause of most of your crashes

UPDATE:

Gromulos - Thank you!! Your original post listing required tools was correct.


** Attention Fellow Noobs **

1.) Follow Gromulos's instructions to the letter. (I had crashes with Vanilla DLC's and no mods)
2.) Watch tutorial videos on the 3 main tools you've downloaded.
3.) Run "LOOT" and then use the "FO4Edit" to CLEAN your files. YES! Even vanilla games with no mods require cleaning.
4.) Follow instructions to make a Bash file.

....and VIOLA !! No more crashes. I've even loaded about 19 mods and no crashes for days.

i followed your guide and everything worked perfectly for about 50 hours and now, seemingly at random, my fallout crashes the same second it loads. this happened to me in my previous game at around 25 hours, so i reinstalled everything, even fallout, started this one, and if i cant figure out how to get a stable game going i think im going to have to retire fo4 T_T

 

i load game with f4se_loader

also my wrye bash started acting weird, i tried reinstalling but it didn't solve it.

tips? hints? loving whispers that everything's going to be ok?

exactly whats happening: i open fo4 with f4se_loader (and i've tried opening it through steam), and the screen goes black like normal when the game starts to load, it looks like it's just about to start up and then disappears- back to desktop.

this started to happen randomly. i didn't change anything about my mods/game when it started.

in terms of setting up mods, i cleaned everything that loot pointed out needs to be cleaned, sorted masters for orange mods....

whats going weird with wrye-- whenever i click away from the wrye window and back to it, it goes through an infinite loop of pop-ups.

 

anything else?
