ziitch
Hello, anyone have an idea on how to animate a crossbow? I've made one for my character (as well as a bolts and a bag to hold them in) and would like to get it animated so it properly loads. Is there any way to tune the loading time animation part of a crossbow's morph so that it's more realistic when applied to a proper crossbow-loading animation? (I might do idle, aim, sneak and load animations...) Or, if someone doesn't mind they can do that for me...
Ghogiel
I think the morph will be called to play from the attack animation... So you know exactly how many frames you have from that point in the animation, because you animated it. Just look at the time when major actions happen that should coincide with the crossbow morph. then you can set up the morph and have a very good idea how long and at what point the crossbow should be doing what. I would do the character animation first then do the bow morph. Basically in the order how modders create custom morphs for their bows.
