LOCKLOAD
Hello, everybody! I've been thinking of making a mod where you end up traveling to Miami. seems kinda like a strange location, but back when it was in the 50s, I think it would fit right into the Fallout universe. If anybody has some ideas for story or locations please send them my way. I would love some pictures of the back-when times, along with where they are from. I am already thinking of throwing in a bunch of Hotline Miami-referencing items and ideas. One of which, is that Miami was nuked much earlier than 2077 (maybe December 1991?), leaving the region more time to rebound from the catastrophe, therefore, has more plant life. I've been thinking of ways for the PC to get to Miami, and the most interesting to me, is rebuilding a car and obtaining a map (hey, the Chosen One did it), but that may be far fetched, but maybe he arrives There, and the cat breaks down, and the quest is to fix it, but along the way you can settle the local conflict, like in the honest hearts DLC (or blaze through it, killing everybody, like I accidentally did on my first playthrough, by shooting Follows-Chalk on instinct) An Institute teleport (maybe gone wrong, or possibly right) is possible. or a subway (like ttw) or a submarine (as both Florida and Massachusetts are on the waterfront). Any tips about a mod like this would be strongly appreciated, as I've dabbled in smaller mods to my game, but have never really made a publishable mod. I have worked on 3D modeling in the past, SO I am not COMPLETELY inept XD Anyway, to recap, GIMMIE IDEAS AND TIPS. Thanks, Aidan
mm137
Check out some images of Miami after Hurricane Andrew. Tons of multistory hotels and things along the coast had their ocean-facing facades totally ripped off. Many are still around today, especially in North Miami. http://i.imgur.com/Rk4Uvt5.png?1 http://i.imgur.com/fT6mvWq.png

LOCKLOAD
in the back of my mind, I'm thinking of bringing the 80s from Honest Hearts to the game, as a tribe that is actually inspired by the 80s (I know they are called the 80s because of the interstate 80, but a man can dream!)they could have followed the I-80 east, them some branched south. Boombro
Do what you want with story. But don't most fallout tribal stay away from pre-war locations?
TeamBacon
Somebody on the Nexus said he was planning on making Miami. Maybe you can find him and work together. Can't remember his name though. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3455815-thoughts-on-jcd12-future-projects/?hl=%2Bmiami Edited March 14, 2016 by TeamBacon

LOCKLOAD
in the back of my mind, I'm thinking of bringing the 80s from Honest Hearts to the game, as a tribe that is actually inspired by the 80s (I know they are called the 80s because of the interstate 80, but a man can dream!)they could have followed the I-80 east, them some branched south.I'm not sure, there are all of the HH tribes, that stuck around zion, but there have to be some tribals not afraid of pre-war buildings. though I've never noticed that there are more than a few tribal settlements avoiding pre-war buildings
