Strange idle animation

I've got some strange idle animation going on, when my character is standing still she looks around and also moves the eyes around. I dont know if this is a deadly reflex thing or from which mod it can come from, so I'm posting my load order bellow. I'm looking it up TES4EDIT but couldnt find out yet, and around the internet also there dosent seen to be anything related.

If you press CTRL (to sneak) does she do some weird, kneebending motion but her upper body is straight, unlike normal sneak? If so, I have the same issue, though not much of a problem I think.

I have little mods active, it would surprise me if one of them caused it.

Does it happen always, or after a few seconds and not all the time? Because it sounds like one of the Personality Idles idles.

 

If it is actually Personality Idles, unfortunately it's a bug from the game engine itself, as it doesn't know how to play two animations simultaneously properly (it usually can't). That's why if you're playing like a sexy walk animation and you suddenly draw your weapon, your entire upper body does this weird wobble.

 

In any case, since you're using Wrye Bash anyway, import the animations, disable the mod and make sure to import the animations from it when you rebuild your Bashed Patch. It could help smooth things out a bit.

Head wobble is a side effect of one of Growlf's Universal Skeletons. Versions 1.0 and 1.2 contain no neck scaling bones so do NOT produce head wobble but version 1.1 contains neck scaling bones and causes the head to wobble around and eye movement to occur. You can downgrade to 1.0, upgrade to 1.2 or add the following to your Oblivion.ini:

 

bDisableHeadTracking=1

The sneak thing didnt happen anymore, but I saw it happen sometime (before I installed most mods).

Maybe the Growlf's skeleton thing is responsible, I have just recently installed the real high heel system which come with a skeleton (which the author said to be necessary even if I had the max compatibility BBB skeleton). However the head appears to be moving on purpose, as the body accompanies it and so does the eyes, as if "looking around" animation. Maybe it's the personalities idles thing... I noticed after reactivating personality idles for player, this stops after the "hands on thighs" idle kicks in.
