Will the DLC tommorow break mods?

What are the odds of the new DLC breaking mods? I haven't finished the game yet, and I have a large amount of mods that I got working (mostly extended armorsmith stuff and outfits).

 

Just wondering if anyone who has more knowledge can predict the likelyhood of the DLC conflicting, and if it is high I may just leave it off until I finish the base game.

I haven't played FO4 in quite some time now, however if I were to assume that a dlc is coming out then you can be sure they will add new stuff that could be incompatible with the mods you have running, so just to be on the safe side I think its a good idea to either hold up on downloading the dlc or you can uninstall the mods, get the dlc and you know, enjoy the best of both worlds.

Yeah I'm going to disable the Robot DLC ESM and just play without it until my preferred modders get a chance to patch. Still haven't finished the vanilla game anyways, keep making new builds haha.

i have 88 mods and played the entire DLC without any problems. only the last door out i cant get through. Me thinks its not mods that caused that.

I can't get into the game. I can get to the main menu, but as soon as I try starting a new game (I deleted my old saves, was done with that game), it just continues to play the music and that background video. So yes, the DLC breaks mods.

Forgot all about having Steam set to automatically download and install the thing on release, so...

 

207 mods loaded according to NMM (probably more than that since there's mesh/texture replacers that I either made myself, or unpacked manually). I can load my saves fine. Further details forthcoming after I see if I can do more than pick my nose in Sanctuary.

 

EDIT: Considering an embarrassingly overwhelming majority of those are settlement crafting mods that I lovingly (and brute-forcingly) got playing nice together with custom patches... I'll check that first :ermm:

Not sure it will fix anything for you, but your load order does not appear optimal. Check Wax2k's guide, stickied in the Mod Troubleshooting forum.
