bben46
Here is the future of drag racing - it's a modified 1972 Datsun 1200 - and it's street legal - you can actually drive it to the track and home again after walking off with first place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLjnRj2Dhwk&NR=

Vindekarr
Drag racing is a massive sport in Australia, and we've got plenty of old rust buckets to make it funny. The most beautiful I've seen goes down to a tie between a 2011 Ford-Shelby SuperSnake which was black with gold flames, and a nearly mirror polished 1970s Holden Kingswood Monaro(HQ, SS), a localy made smallblock musclecar loosely based on a Chevelle frame/shape. Funniest I've seen was a 1981 Opel Kadette(Holden Gemini) with a 502 Jegs bigblock. Long story short, it about about the size of a Pinto, had 2,800 horsepower, and it's gargantuan rear tyres meant it was sitting on a very steep angle. It absolutely dominated. I also did see a 1967 Toyota Corolla-Levin with a twin-turbo 1998 Supra engine in it, 900 horsepower, street legal, crazy stuff man. All in this tiny little banger.
