I wish people would get over the whole 'nudity is dangerous' thing. In my opinion, restriction just makes people more perverted.

True to some extent. For instance, when you watch national geographic...villagers have exposed boobies everywhere, there must be all kinds of accidental nipple grazing going on... But you never see them on youporn. Also in Europe, don't women go to beaches topless? I know here in FL, South beach in Miami is topless...

Voted no, despite being a major proponent of nude body mods, sex mods, and other adult content. Having seen the track record of Bethesda and their lackluster effort at making many models/textures (and animations), the last thing I want is some half-assed models and low quality skins in the base game making me actually not want to loot bodies of their armor to simply sell, especially with how long bodies last out in the world before decaying. If they had even a remote record of making good looking bodies/faces from the start (though I will admit a few NPCs in Skyrim can qualify as very good), I wouldn't mind, but simply put they do no and I would rather see simple rag underwear and wait on people who are going to put real time and effort into making it look right with variety for any and all tastes, whether it be "normal" or otherwise.

Perusing over TESNexus, it doesn't take long to find that naked mods and boob enhancements can be found aplenty. There is not really a question of whether or not the market wants nudity in a TES game, as the answer at first glance appears to be a resounding "yes!" I'm not trying to say that Skyrim will or should have nudity built in, I'm almost certain that it will not until the modder's have their way with Skyrim. (Hey a pun! :D) But I guess what I'm getting at is, do you want nudity built into skyrim as a game setting, or would you rather have that kind of thing left totally in the realm of modding?

Nudity in games isn't really that new when you consider games like Custer's revenge, and it's slowly becomming more mainstream when you consider games like God of War and The Saboteur, the latter of which had a nudity patch sold as a bonus feature which cost 5 bucks or so if you didn't buy the game new.

Whats your opinion? Should Nudity be Vanilla, or nixed by BethSoft?

all games, should have Nudity as mainstream.

i have certain reasons.

1.

if the model is better, so can the mod made better, (better armor)

2.

you can use alpha textureing better.

3.

why not, if the player feel a urge to see his model running naked to the woods, who am i to take away his pleasure.

4.

a human is born naked, by hiding skin you only learn to negitively see you'r self as inperfect.

I use the nude patch in all my games, i find it kind of strange if i remove all cloths they still have cloths on.

do i run naked with the models?, not really just the thought that matters.

also wanna add, a naked model takes less time to make, then haveing it with undies, sinds at design the 3D models are already naked.

to add secondary textures and stuff

No because you will just get the fox new network style media frenzy and then games will be forced to be censored beyond reason/or banned and will hurt sales, + beth is crap at making bodies anyway :P

Save your pathetic jabs at Fox news.

Politics of any news station are irrelevant to this discussion, Fox News has earned their own jab in this subject, though, thanks to their foaming at the mouth over the whole Mass Effect "alien sex" thing a few years back.

IMO it's fine as it is.

Players have been using mods and cheats for ages so they could stare at Lara Croft's titties so I say let's keep it that way. I've been using some nude body mods myself but I don't like having every NPCs in the nude in my games. I'm not a prude but I prefer the way the game is by default.

On occasions I like having my Nord character strutting around in a loincloth, I wouldn't like him to walk around completely naked.

When you loot armours from dead bodies I find it disturbing to see these dead bodies naked.

Last but not least, someone brought up the question of kids and I've read enough disturbing comments when it comes to kids in these games to be concerned about that issue.

I have nothing against sexy outfits and stuff. People should be able to make their characters wear whatever strike their fancy but there is a huge difference between having modded nudity and having it by default.

Of course having fur bras that look like they're from One Million Years B.C. doesn't really help... I find that the default underwear in Skyrim is not that bad compared to the fur bras in DAO.

aye, it put the avrage gamer in a akward position.

sex/nudity in a movie is in general overall acapted, witch force game industrie to walks like 20 year's behind.

i think, humanity, (general speaking) ain't yet psychological ready for nudity in games. (also reason why people also bash about so called violence in video games while their smaller brother media version TV/Movies are far more violent)
