In terms of sheer hours played, I'd have Skyrim, Dota 2 and an old 90s mac game called "BOOM" in my top 3.

But nostalgia dictates that I say Age of Empires II is my favourite PC game. I've got 3 different legit copies on disc, lol.

But I also really like:

New Vegas

Minecraft

Doom 3

Halo 1

At one time I used to play A LOT of SimCity 2000 and SimCity 4

I'm also a big fan of Warcraft III and The Stanley Parable. I'm also partial to the odd game of CS:GO

Fallout 3 - The game that changed me from a FPS gamer into a RPG gamer... quite the feat. Absolutely hated NV.

Half-life series.

Mass Effect series.

Witcher series.

Oblivion - Skyrim (Oblivion was the first game that made me cry.)

Return to castle Wolfenstein - On-line. Played this game every day, 24/7 for 7 years. was an Admin for Jolt-gameservers on the Market-garden map. Sweet times.

Football manager from the 2010 version till now.

Left4Dead. Clocked over 6000 hours in it. - (Absolutely hate Left4Dead 2.)

Sims 3

Divinity 2 - Surprisingly good game that got heavily underrated.

Okay, I have to ask. Why is it that you detest FNV when it's considerably more RPG oriented than FO3?

As i stated in my review of the game, NV goes not give me the feeling of being in a apocalypse world.... my Character walks around like he just craps his pants.. Looting someone makes him bow over like he is 80+yo with arthritis.. (I always play 3rd person)

The story is Improbable.. boring, and the NPC characters are forgettable, maybe except the King...

The DLC is a load of fetch quests... I have the "Skip dead money" mod installed..Old world blues is a laugh.. but nothing more then a whole lot of go and fetch quests with no real back story, and the Honest heats DLC doesn't make me feel like i should give a rats ass about what anyone there does or doesn't do... If i play it... which is rare.. i usually kill em all and move on.. doesn't give me any emotion what so ever.

The only part of crappy NV that makes me feel more or less okay, is the lonesome road DLC.

I can tell you this:

If the Willow companion Mod wouldn't have existed, i would consider this piece of crap game, blasphemously called a Fallout game.. a huge lemon, and stow it away as deep in the dusty annals of my cyber graveyard as i can...

Man.. i hate that game as much as i hate L4D2.... and that's saying something.

A comparison:

L4D played: over 6000 hours.

L4D2 Played: 92 hours, mostly for my clan's sake.

Fallout 3 played: Around 5000 hours.. first on disk, then the original, and then the GOTY edition. In fact, still play it.

NV played: 588 hours. mostly thanks to the Willow companion mod and Lonesome road DLC.

Does this answer your question ?...;)

Oblivion. Standing at the sewer exit was a defining moment. A whole world to explore. Nothing but opportunity and options.

It is the same rush I got exiting Vault 101.

I only got that rush with Oblivion and that´s basically just because I played it first and the whole sandbox thing was new to me. I got it a little bit with Fallout 3 as well though, I must admit. Standing before a whole, new world ready to be explored... It simply can´t be beat as far as I´m concerned :)
