Battlefield2 I got a medal for the damndest of things...

So I was flying a plane and jumped out, and I parachuted down, accidently into one of those huge chimneys. I fell to my death in there and for some reason was awarded with a medal. what the f***?

I've had some wierd ones, but also done some stuff that left me thinking "Aww come on! SURELY I get a prize for that!"

 

Fave non medal moments: I finished a game having gotten ALL my kills with the Defibs in BC-2(they're actualy better than the knife, faster, one-hit-kill) Not a bad tally either, 9 kills ~15 deaths, 11 revived players, whole lotta heals.

 

Air-Dropping a sniper onto a Windmill on the big valley map, I love doing that, he thanked me too, which was nice, and then got 36 kills, which was nicer.

 

Fave wierd and wacky medals: Revenge Pin: kill the guy who shot you 6 times(How come that's a medal and 9 defib kills in a match isnt?!?!?!)

There should be a medal for being smart, picking up dead medic's kit and reviving him. I always feel uncomfortable with the other person's gun but hell it makes me feel happy :P

 

And Vinde since its in BF2 section I am quite sure it's Battlefield 2, since he also mentioned a plane.

 

There should be a medal for getting a headshot with a smoke grenade. Never gets old.

i hope they make the "Basic Swimming" medal

I hope they make a "reward for trying" medal for swimming all the way out to the jet on Kharg island and then immediately getting AA'd

for BC2, i find defibs to be worse. they dont always seem to kill, even when i connect, meaning their hit detection is bad. then again so isnt the knifes. however knifes seem to have a little more range (when they do decide to get their hit detect right). i find myself getting knifed from some pretty ridiculous distances.

 

also, when im playing medic, the thing i hate the most is when ppl pick my kit up to revive me, cause then i get their kit, and it just annoys me.

 

as for awards i feel like i should get.....when 4 M-COMs ive armed are destroyed, i should get that pin. its only happened like twice (as i never played Rush) but i still have yet to get that pin!

 

but really. a medal i think i should get is going 0/0 and still being number 1 on the leader board! now that is a good recon, but i was number 1 overall so yea....tons of spots and tons of assists. being a long range recon, i never got a 1hit kill that round (couldnt hit a head shot for my life lol) so every time i shot someone it was a hit, but not a kill. team mate would kill, id get the assist. tons of points!....needless to say, i wasnt trying for that. i was new to recon, hadnt figured out the drop. so every time i aimed for the head, i got a body shot...or missed.
