Trade dialog for minutemen so that you can equip them with guns and armor you want

I hate that minutemen wear lousy shirts, torn hats and a useless laser musket when your settlement guards are equipped with heavy combat armor and silenced assault rifles.

I want to be able to equip minutemen with whatever gear I want so that I can not only make them look awesome, but be an actual force to be reckoned with, every time I summon them with my flare gun.

To that end, all it takes is a simple "trade" dialog whenever I interact with a "Minuteman". I tried searching for it, but couldn't find any. Maybe somebody needs to make it.

for the Checkpoint guys, you can use the console command "openactorcontainer 1" to access their inventory and trade with them. not sure if the ones summoned by the flares are persistant somewhere or if the game randomly generates them every time you use it. If it's the latter (and I suspect it is), then that would require an edit to the table that generates them as any gear you trade them would probably disappear when you summon a new batch.

I'd love to see a mannequin at the Castle that basically determines what the minutemen are to wear.

Awesome idea! but a tad bit unbalanced. Maybe it could cost caps to place "value" determined items? because that way you can easily make a fatman power-armored army :)

Also perhaps.. it can have several mannequins, allowing you to edit, race, sex, type, maybe add synths, change manequins between robots and dogs, that oughta give enough control

Well, I'm not certain how you'd get the power armor onto a mannequin, but good point. I was thinking keeping it specifically along the lines of clothing and armors, weapons could probably be drawn from some sort of armory supply. If you had different classes of minutemen, multiple mannequins, with weapons might work well.
