Dokueki
I'm sure there are a few others with the same opinion I have: I don't like the Vehicle Power armor. I'm not asking for a 'no fusion core' requirement, I mean to have Power Armor be exactly the same as it was in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I'd do this myself if I could actually do rigging, materials and porting (when the GECK releases) but I can't even delete a single vertices from a model without it not working in F3. TLDR> I hate bulky power armor> Bring it to Mechanist suit levels
flipdark95
That's easily doable. You'd just need to redo the weights on the power armor pieces. In fact a outfit I'm planning has power armor pieces without the power frame.
Dokueki
Hence the problem, I've tried weighting/rigging and the mesh either moves with the skin (hideous) or it constantly crashes
flipdark95
Weightpainting is kind of a big pain to figure out. Typically I'd suggest just copying the weights from the body over to the power armor pieces and then parenting them to the body's armature. That's the usual method with how people weight their clothing and armor for Bethesda games since it's the most direct.
drewsm10
I'd love to see a mod like this that brings back what the power armor was like in F3 and NV. I hope someone can make this mod well

jkruse05
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15571/? Will need a little adjustment to get where you want, but with author permission it could be a pretty good starting point.
