Fallout 3/NV style Power Armor

I'm sure there are a few others with the same opinion I have: I don't like the Vehicle Power armor.

 

I'm not asking for a 'no fusion core' requirement, I mean to have Power Armor be exactly the same as it was in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I'd do this myself if I could actually do rigging, materials and porting (when the GECK releases) but I can't even delete a single vertices from a model without it not working in F3.

 

TLDR> I hate bulky power armor> Bring it to Mechanist suit levels

That's easily doable. You'd just need to redo the weights on the power armor pieces. In fact a outfit I'm planning has power armor pieces without the power frame.

Weightpainting is kind of a big pain to figure out. Typically I'd suggest just copying the weights from the body over to the power armor pieces and then parenting them to the body's armature. That's the usual method with how people weight their clothing and armor for Bethesda games since it's the most direct.
