volticwingz
Fallout used to crash maybe every three or four hours. Now it might do it every twenty minutes and maybe not even that. I have a few mods installed but im not sure if that is it. Usually when it freezes, it just starts playing a certain piece of audio over and over again until i restart my computer. Please help and thanks in advance.

Check the GPU/CPU temps too, crashing might be heat related if occurs more and more frequently.. Unlikely tho,,,,,, usually low vcore/vgpu is to blame. obobski
Start a new character with no mods. Does it still crash? If yes, then the problem is either with the New Vegas install or with your machine (and PillMonster is on the right track for chasing that down), if no, then the problem is your savegame (it is corrupted) - you can try "cleaning" it but more than likely you're going to want to reload to an older save that isn't corrupted. Without more information I'm inclined to vote "savegame corruption" if you're dealing with constant crashing that has "cropped up out of nowhere." JimboUK
Make sure your game is 4GB enabled and use this http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/?
