Peregrine
I'll let this one go, half because I just posted the new policy, and half because it explains my point so nicely. But I'm counting posts in defense of the mods in the "post = strike" rule. If they complain agian, leave it to me. As for your second point, there's no reason to. Everything that can be said on this subject has been said. Nothing is going to change, and this has been made very clear. Any additional posts can only be spam or harassing the mods. Somedude
You're already on the "suspect members" list for doing this, so this is your last warning.WOOOOOT! "Suspect Members List". Do I get VIP privileges? B)
Malchik
No mate, you end up with a ban. Read the rules and stick to the rules or leave the forum. Strict or not that is the policy the admin want everyone to follow. The choice ultimately is yours. As there are so many other forums out there you enjoy, not being able to access this one should not be a problem to you. So the departure can be mutually agreed without bad feelings on either side. Slaiv
Look, I don't care WHAT your "golden book" says, nor does it matter if you're married to them all -- you are NOT bringing twenty women in here for the sole purpose of staging an or-- Wait... Sorry, thought that the subtitle was "From a Mormon's Point of View." FOr your info, I'll have you know that Mormon's don't marry multiple wives anymore (That ended over a hundred years ago.) And what's with the anti-Mormonism?
Kethruch
Slaiv - why are you trying to bait someone? First of all, you're reopening a thread that hadn't been posted to in a couple of weeks that the mods and the site admin have said is done and discussion over. That type of challenge can only lead to an attempt at a flame - with the impugnity of trying to say that the other person started it. What we need is for everyone to show civility here. Both from mods, who I understand are having their patience stretched to the very limit, who need to swallow their defensive urges when they read for the 5,000th time that the mods are too strict, and come out and quietly set an example for what good posting is like, and also from the posters who seem to use language as a weapon to attempt to disparage and otherwise put down others so they can feel big themselves. It does no one any good when threats are made either way. It has been noticed by more than a few that there are a lot of members in the 11-17 age range who seem to want to post things that I know my grandfather (whose language misuse was legendary) would cringe at. To blindly say that there is a section of the forum that is open to everyone with no rules is, in my opinion, a very bad idea. I disagree with those who wish to 'vent' on a special part of the forum where there would be no repercussions from the moderators. It is not that I want to put down any speech that is against anyone on the site - but, rather, the space for this forum is being allowed to us to communicate with each other for free. If you really want to vent - either do it through IM - where the anger you are hopefully temporarily feeling will go away, or start up your own site called something like "I hate morrowind" and, since you would be paying for the bandwidth, you can have any rules that you want on it.
