My second attempt at Amnesia

Ok, so my first attempt at Amnesia: The Dark Descent went a bit like this.

So I want to attempt it the second time. Who dares me to? :laugh:

 

Just a question. Who actually played it and completed it, got any tips?

I tried the demo. I want to go on but the camera work and the effects that sometimes goes with it is making me dizzy.

Hah, I used to play it by intervals, since I would get progressively more tense. :ohdear: Then my computer crashed and I lost the save, along with everything else. I was a bit far into the story, so I didnt have the heart to just redo everything I had done.

Played the demo...won't play it again :P Scared the living crap out of me...and I'm used to playing Silent Hill and the like. This game is far creepier.

My second attempt at playing it resulted in my hiding inside a closet for about a half hour while the monster waited patiently outside.

 

 

Tips for completing the game:

Mute it and play the soothing sounds of Led Zeppelin or something instead.

Remember: It's only a game.

Crank up the gamma so it looks like everything is made of play-doh.

Use GIMP to edit the texture on the monster so it has a smiley face instead of the usual look.

 

Actually, never do that. NEVER. I learned my lesson.

I will start playing it when I get to the summer holidays, which is, after next week. Also I'm wondering, the shadow that is following you, does it summon monsters? Or how does it work?

Meh thats not scary lol, the game in general is meh.I've played worse.

 

 

Like for instants fatel frame, Silent hill and the whole nine yards. I'm actually a big fan of that stuff :thumbsup:
