dismemberment

Speaking of which, what about other F3 style special deaths, like getting reduced to a pile of ash as result of an unfortunate incident involving a magical gob of fire?

As for dismemberment, I think it fits a game involving large sharp weapons very much. If, of course, done in moderation.

most likely they would have special deaths. It just wouldn't be a fire ball spell if your opponent wasn't left screaming and on fire.

Well, if you watch videos, you can see that setting people on fire is already in. I just hope that when they are set on fire, and die from it, they show it (burnt corpses/ash piles). Fallout 3 required a mod for that though. Its a relatively small thing, but a nice touch and it adds to immersion in my opinion.

Of course people could be set on fire in Oblivion as well, the only difference is that now it looks better.

Haha, yeah that would work too!

I wonder if there will be a side-quest involving a party, like the Donner party, where in order to survive, the people in the party eat Argonian tails to stay alive.

If you ever get trapped or lost and you have no food and an argonian, just chop his tail off a feast. Infinite supply of food.

Or if you ARE an Argonian, you could cut off your own tail and eat it.

The little voice in my head wants to tell that you'd probably expend more energy growing the tail back than you'd get from eating it.

It's a game with lizard people, are you really asking for realism? :P
