Banished from the Inst: Is there a way to get it without killing people?

I was just looking over the wiki and the ways to get banished from the Institute, and I was just wondering if there was a way to get banished after finishing the Bunker Hill mission successfully without having to kill people, or join the BoS. Is there?

Otherwise, if you don't mind killing one person, you could choose to join the Minutemen when Father sends you, their General, to tell a group of minutemen to stand down whilst an Institute retrieval team convinces a scientist living on the surface to come with them. You would instead storm the house, killing Dr. Thompson and several Gen 2 synths and after that fight a fierce battle at Fort Independence.

How do You enter the institute before you build that contraption from the Railroad?

I'm pretty sure I didn't kill anyone.. I just walked up to father and when he asked me to do something I had the option to say.. "nope, not going to do that." and we were whisked away to have a conversation on a roof somewhere. Kind of wish that was an option for all factions. You join them all and then once they want you to take out another faction, you get to say "no," and they kick you out. After you've been kicked out of all the factions for not being their hired goon, a slide show shows you wandering off and establishing a settlement where you live out the rest of your days in peace.

This is a concept I could enjoy. Telling Desdemona "No, I will not take down the Prydwen" would make me happy. So would telling Maxson that I have absolutely no desire to destroy the Railroad.
