Not some stupid RPG setting (no offense to Bethesda, of course), but actual Medieval tech. Castles, siege, chivalry, and women who are weak on the outside, but really are making devious plots. Ancalagon Posted January 16, 2004 Share Posted January 16, 2004 My sentiments exactly. I'm a insanely huge fane of the Mad Max trilogy (soon to be quad...whatever, since a Mad Max 4 is being made. Though it has been put on hold due to location shooting in Africa (Zaire, I think) and the whole 'Iraq War'.) And I would love nothing more than to be a Gyro Captain or something like the great Road Warrior himself... Though, will this still be Arena? or will it be like an RPG? Though if you want a more structured story, hopefully I'll be able to get the rp forums open again and you can make it there. But part of the point of this thread is that there aren't many rules, and chaos is one of them. But honestly, I get kinda tired of typing 'a magnetic-thermo-giga-nuclear-fusion bomb which was, convieniently, made of snow' and using that last line, 'convieniently yadda yadda yadda' wears on you like you wouldn't belive. If we could have a more belivable reason for snow in the wasteland, other than it was 'magically dumped on the Earth' I think that would be better IMHO. Like, for instance, a Nuclear Winter. Where the dust and smoke that was kicked up by the War blocked out the sun light (can actually happen in a Nuclear war). I don't know, does anyone think that would be a feasible idea?
