MyDogsTale knew of the negotiations and didn't think that it was in His best interest not to attend.

He took one of his fighters, and flew to the meeting...His fighter avoided the dense radar supervision, and landed next to the otr ship at the square.

He marched down the street with a titan at each sidde's carrying parade swords.

 

He opend the door:

 

-Hello gentlemen, I bring you gifts.

 

MyDogsTale then handed out some VERY holy shrunken heads.

 

He then sat down quietly...

 

-I can only attend so breefly, as i have read some history, and there people frequently stab eachothers back's...best beeing on alert eh?

The fleet watched silently and observed the battles in front of them. They watched as the defending commanders abandoned their fleets. A foolish move, the fleet's commander thought. In their absence, someone might try to take advantage of the situation and attack. No, the loss of the fleet's allies right now would not be good. The fleet moved deeper into the system, into a better position to counter-attack.

Aleksei looks to the three newcommers and sighs.

 

<Well since you have all decided to show up, let's talk... Or did you men have anything else in mind?>

 

Aleksei didnt understand a thing what was going on. This was supposed to be just a meeting between Red Nation officials and the Habassan messengers. He might as well take advantage of the situation and try to end the stupidity that has been raging in the Earth-system.

 

<Also let me inform you that I shall not tolerate any hostility... If you disturb the peace around here you will be arrested.>

 

While speaking that last sentence he knods towards the Elite Guard who are clearly heavily armed.

ooc - sorry about barreling through your defenses like that packrat, didn't even occur to me that your people might have increased security with the arrival of Peregrine's men... Also, those posts between Elwe and myself are to be completely ignored...Mars still exists and I did not attack it...that was the deal.

 

 

-Before Elwe and MyDogsTale arrive:

 

With a nod to Peregrine's men, Mojlnir addresses himself to Aleksei;

 

"Old friend, it would seem that we find ourselves in a very strange position indeed. New enemies, old enemies turned ally and a war that none of us wanted...but yet we have. Perhaps it was not my place to attend this meeting without invite, but I feel that if we are to address the issues, the three parties must be present. I extend my most sincere apologies for barging in unannounced and extend the safety of my planets to you and yours should you ever have need of them."

 

Just as Mojlnir finished speaking Elwe and MyDogsTale burst through the door, completely unannounced and rather more unexpected than even Mojlnir's arrival.

 

Mojlnir rose again and glared at Elwe.

 

"Your space stations took 12,000 of my men! You name me an enemy of your entire race and you dare to show your face here? Either you are very brave or completely insane..."

 

Turning on MyDogsTale, Mojlnir's voice rose even further;

 

"And you...reinforcing him while my expeditionary force stood inocently by and harmed no one...until your entire fleet moved to attack me!" turning to Aleksi and the Peregrinists (who were all looking slightly amused), "These men are not to be trusted..."

 

"Mojlnir," said Aleksei heavily "Calm yourself. Let us hear what they have come to say."

 

"Alright." replied Mojlnir disgustedly, "Aleksei I have the greatest respect for you and your people, and I meant no disrespect by my outburts...but I will not parley with these men...I will crush them beneath my heel!!"

 

With these words, Mojlnir slammed his fist on the table and then sat heavily in his chair. His eyed Elwe and MyDogsTale with pure animosity.

Aleksei stands up and knods disagreeing.

 

<Insects are crushed beneath a man's heel... Human lifes cannot be thrown away like insects... We have seen war before, we know what it has done to us... This once mighty planet has turned into ruin, coloured by blood, heated by fires. Our ideals have remained the same as 600 years ago. We want universal peace! Now it seems that Peregrine has devoted himself to the same ideal. We shall not interfere untill we decide that it has been enough. And Moljnir, you have seen us and Peregrine march to war. You know what power lies behind us, and now that we have allied ourselves... We have become an extremely dangerous foe. So I advise to work things out.>

 

Aleksei looks towards the other side of the conflict.

The Peregrinists stand quietly and watch the "discussion", weapons still held ready but not quite aimed at the new arrivals. They know Mojlnir's interest in the conflict far outweighs their own, and are content to let him handle the opening "negotiations".

occ- Mojlnir, i annuled the attack...just so you know...thought it would be better that way.

 

After passing out the gifts and saying his words, MyDogsTale had sat quietly down in the comfy chairs.

He wass fully dressed in a black Armor covering all of his body, not even his eyes could be seen.

He listend to Mojlnir's arguments...and watched Peregrines content smile...

He quiely rose his hand, in his society this was a very respectfull act...

 

-i am very sorry for barging in like this Pack Rat, but crude behavior is my peoples way...but here i shall restrain myself...

I do not belive that these two wish for peace and prosperity, I rather belive that Peregrine is still hounted by The Artifact, I belive it still plages his soul, it stimulates his inner dreams, To rule everything and every man...

 

MyDogsTale paused, then he spoke again:

 

If war breakes out and you are neutral then you will not feel a fist coming for you Pack Rat, But rather an open hand, reaching out for trade and agreements.

 

If war breaks out and you are my enemy i shall consider you a welcome and worthy foe, and tho you will feel a fist it shall strike no other than the warriors..not you people.

 

If war breaks out and you are my Ally then i will guard your back to the best of my knowledge and assist you and your people in any way i can.

 

MyDogsTale paused again...and then he stood up from his chair and looked at Mojlnir...Then he pointed his finger at him:

 

-You! No more than a piece on a check board, lifted by an evil hand known for striking the weak and innocent, STRIKING with NO mercy...Considering lives as bugs and puny things that has no meaning and feelings at all! And you expect to be treated as an innocent, how can a WHOLE fleet be seen upon as friendly as it nears a mans home...you were not innocent, you were looking for holes in the lines, weaknesses in their strategy, you were looking for trading lives for profit!

 

So therefore i wished to help Ëlwe...

 

My hate for peregrine came for one simple reason, He doesn't know but during the wars so long ago he affected the lives of my people i every way, trade routes were cut off, my people starved,My people begun killing eachother, brothers and fathers killed eachother for a mouthfull of food... my kingdom was nearly wiped out...Back then i was weak, but now...

 

So i had to leave my people, i had to travel to alternative universes to build my strenght, now my kingdom is strong, after years of internal blood shed and quarrels we are now at peace...I belive it's our duty to disarm all those whowant to cause inbalance to what we have spent lifetimes to build, be it either by the means of a fist or a name on a paper.

 

And i know...In the start of this conflict the lust for glory and prosprity for my people caused me to want all that is known for myself...but i have learned form what i have read...empires allways fall...if i act in the same manner as before my kingsom shall fall to.

 

With that said, MyDogsTale sat down again.

"You cover your expansionist ambitions well, MyDogsTale," the Peregrinist officer said with a bit of a laugh. "You had your prosperity, but it wasn't good enough for you? You come in making demands of alliance and recognition of your invasion. And you have the courage to call us the threat to the universe?"

 

As he spoke, his guards shifted postition slightly, anticipating an attack from their enemies. They knew the man they guarded far too well, and they knew what his next words would be.

 

The officer looked over at Aleksei. "I wouldn't trust any alliance from them. His words are merely a diversion to get you out of the way until it is too late. Already, he plans your destruction."

 

He paused a moment to let full understanding of his words enter the minds of everyone in the room. Noticing the look of confusion on Aleksei's face, he continued.

 

"What, you didn't know? They have spies in your government, likely at the highest levels. How else did you think they knew of this meeting? How else could he get here within an hour of my arrival? How else would he know of an Artifact I have spoken only to you of? Search your memory, review your security logs... I told you about it before he arrived on this planet. Someone in this room is a traitor. His knife is already positioned at your back. Give him the time he needs to fortify his conquests, and he will add your homes to his empire."
