*Shin now lying in the armchair (that malchik had picked him up and thrown him into) gazed towards the stars yet again, watching all the ships fight their intergalactic battles....... not like it's going to matter everytime some gets strong there is always someone stronger

"Where there is life there is hope" shin utters

*shin rolls his head to the side to see that YET AGAIN earthII has been destroyed

he begins to laugh at the "gods" that have now become insane, destroying everything they can't have.

*shin laughs at their pathetic planet destroying powers "it hasn't even been a day and you still managed to blow it up.......... suprise suprise

BC-G Longbow, New Habassa Orbit: Crusade +2:20 Days

Now back to his flagship, Peregrine is busy proving right the comments about "insane gods". As he reads Pack Rat's letter, an evil sounding laugh escapes his control. His reply is short and simple:

Old "friend", how your sense of time has failed. Your years are but days to the universe. Let this be a lesson to you: we are not made for this world, so we must remake it to better suit us. I give you this last chance, accept the truth I give you, and I will spare you my wrath. Doom is coming to the unbelievers, all shall fall before the glory of Peregrine....

The reply sent, Peregrine turns his attention to the universe map hanging on his wall. "So many targets, so little time... only one way to settle this...." He picks up the snowball on his desk, and throws it at the map. "Ah, so fate has chosen..."

<ooc: Ohhhh, ok, I understand. Well then, Ancalagon is certanly OUT of it, but it doesn't mean he can't observe from afar!>

*As the quickly as the life sped from Ancalagon's body, so did his spirit. His physical mortal body now gone forever, Ancalagon is now in the true form he was originally born unto, a great White Dragon of the Heavens. He is in his true God form now, but he cannot interfere with the events he has set into motion any longer. High atop his mighty citadel made of silver, diamond and ice, he rests his enormous muscular body upon an open dais overlooking the Blessed Realm of the True Gods.

*He streches his vast wings and they encirlce the entire top of the dais easily. Ancalagon lets out an air shattering bellow, and uses his bright firery blue eyes to pierce the haze of the mortal realm until he rests his gaze upon the ship of Peregrine. His gaze pierces the steel, snow, and ice of the ship until he is looking at Peregrine directly. He lets all of his will, malace, hatred, and pride bore into Peregrine and the ship rocks from the force of his gaze. In his head, Peregrine hears a voice terrible to hear, and he claps his wings over his ears, from his mind all he can see is two bright blue burning eyes of fire piercing his very soul.

"I see you Peregrine, you cannot hide, though I am out of this tale and can never come again into it, I can still observe you. You shall feel the burden of my gaze, and you will remember it and carry it with you. Forever looking over your shoulder for some unseen blow that will never come. And it will drive you into madness and despair. There is no escape for you, Peregrine, only...DEATH"

*At the last word the ship shakes violently, steel beams and ice bulkheads groan and shriek in protest to the force being put upon them. Peregrine is thrown from his command seat upon the floor. Then, as suddenly as it began, it ends; all returns to normal and the ship is as silent as a tomb.

*High atop his citadel Ancalagon lets out a massive sigh, and turns his gaze to the Other Realms in search of his beloved Children. He hopes that in time he can bring them to the Blessed Realm of the True Gods, so they may live with him in bliss forever. Smaller White Dragons, lesser spirits that serve him, bring him news of the Outside Realms and all that goes on. He speaks aloud,

"I sense that Mojlnir's time is drawing nigh, soon, very soon he will come to me. His cause is right and just, but even his mighty armada stands not a chance against the mad "god" Peregrine. I hope Mojlnir's end is a swift and merciful one. I also wish to call Shin to me, for I desire his pressence here. Tell him to come to the Blessed Realms as speedily as he can."

*One of the lesser White Dragons bellows out an acknowlledgment, and wings off towards the Mortal Realms, Guarded by the Impassible Pillars of Creation.

Mojlnir Fleet Yards: Crusade +3:10 Days

"Fleet base, this is the dreadnought Peregrine's Glory. You will surrender or you will die."

The message was simple audio, direct link to Mojlnir's transport. The voice paused, as if letting Mojlnir understand the situation. Then, in a voice that left no quesiton about its seriousness, continued.

"We have more then enough firepower to destroy you and your fleet. Take this chance, accept the one true God before it is too late. Peregrine can be just and merciful to those who submit willingly, but defy him and death will be the least of your concerns. I give you ten minuites to decide. Transmit your complete and unconditional surrender by then or we will open fire."

Malchik wonders why people continue to fight when neither side has a snowball's chance of hell in winning. He sips a cool mint julep and nibbles on the remains of Mojlnir's cavewhich. Peace and good will he burbles gently. He sends out the fleas of illusion to bite everone so they believe they are totally and indisputably and permanently dead (whether they are or not.)

He waits patiently for the evening showing of ROTK in Shin's protected castle.

Pack Rat reads Peregrines reply and throws away the letter in anger.

Fool!

He thinks he can become a god... How can a mortal become a god?

Every day more and more sides are taking up weapons against Peregrine, the only one that actually was able to keep Peregrine away from total madness left the battle.

Dark tides are coming. Peregrine wants to make a world but he's doing nothing more than destroying it.

Pack Rat sighs and looks outside his window.

I've created a monster...

Malchik throws what is left of the cavewhich at the DiCaprio cone - I mean clone - and kills it with a pest spray (the clone that is not the cavewhich).

Pack Rat receives an enchanted email. "Come down and party, mate. ROTK is on in Shin's castle and it's supposed to Arachnoidally good!"

*Mjolnir Fleet Base*

No stranger to Fate, Mojlnir smiles faintly as the radar screen is slowly covered with an ever increasing number of red dots.

"He found me...I only needed two more days..."

With a broadening grin, Mojlnir begins ordering all defense shields to maximum and give the "clear to fire" order to the defensive batteries. The space tugs, which are bringing another asteroid, are ordered to alter course and send the asteroid spinning into Peregrines densely packed fleet.

On the far side of the moon, the P-5 staging area is a flurry of orderly activity. Space Marines board their assult ships in full battle gear, each one a force to reconned with. At the "Famine" staging area, the picture is much the same. 27 of the massive rail-gun ships have been completed, each one capable of unleashing a beam of energy powerful enough to rip any ship it touchs into dust. Mojlnir orders these ships out first, because as Peregrines fleet is tightly grouped after the hyper-jump, the rail gun should be able to set off chain reactions within the groups of ships.

As Peregrine's self-satisified message of surrender is broadcast, Mojlnir hits the universal broadcast switch, so that everyone in his base and aboard his ships can here the message. There is silence as every ear waits for the reply they know will come.

The gravelly voice of their leader broadcasts a simple reply:

"Eat snow, you over-grown excuse for a feather duster!"

The cheers are deafening, blood will be spilt this day...much blood...but surrender is not an option. Peregrine may win this fight, but his fleet will leave this place a shattered hulk.

As the reply was broadcast, the 27 K-2l's dropped out of ecm within range of Peregrines approaching fleet, each with shields at maximum and rail-guns charged. As blinding streams of pure anti-sno ripped into Peregrines ships, the P-5's, enginges flaring on full assult-approach burn, began to close with Peregrine's capitol ships. As the chain-lighting from the rail guns began to jump from ship to disintegrating ship, Peregrine realizes his mistake and the fleet begins to spread out into formation. But not before horrible losses have been inflicted upon his fleet.
