Ancalagon
*Resting his mighty girth, the Great White Dragon of the Heavens flips on his 'Dragonvision' plasma screen TV and begins watching ROTK. "Pass the Popcorn." *Because Gods can do that. :P
Peregrine
<ooc: should have made this a bit more clear: there is no fleet!> Mojlnir Fleet Base: Crusade +3:11 Days "Your time is up. This is your last chance, surrender now or die."The message broadcast interrupted Mojlnir's dream. Too many hours of work and too little sleep had cost him all rational thought. As he stood up again, the scene on his display was a complete contrast to the one in his dream. Outside, work in the fleet yards continued normally, its peacefulness mocking his hopes. This latest message was followed by a surpised report from the communications officer, his voice the definition of disbelief."She's one of ours!"As the command staff watched in horror, the id tag on one of the K-2ls turned bright red, its name switching to Peregrine's Glory. The massive ship began rotating, bringing its railgun into alignment with a group of ships still under construction.Peregrine's Glory fired. A solid anti-snow warhead sliced through the yard at over .8c. An entire section of the shipyard collapsed into a massive fireball, explosions spreading outward through the helpless ships still under construction. As that section of the yard died, the id tags of even more ships turned red. Their effectiveness was far out of proportion to their actual numbers, as the complete suprise of the attack caught the fleet with most of its defenses down. The remaining loyal ships took heavy losses in the opening seconds of the battle, but finally began to regroup. If only by sheer numbers they should win, but at what cost? But not everything went as planned. Here and there, loyal crews managed to resist the takeover efforts of the traitors on their ship. But they fought with the fanatacism that comes with true belief in their "god", and ship after ship drifted out of formation, critical crew dead or distracted. As Mojlnir watched helplessly as civil war consumed his fleet, the loyal fleet finally began to gain the advantage. Seeing defeat was inevitable, the Peregrinists embraced their afterlife. The surviving traitor ships disappeared in the anti-snow fireballs of their self destruct systems, taking a few more ships down with them. As the last flashes faded away, barely a third of Mojlnir's fleet remained.

Peregrine
<ooc: ooc = out of character, side discussion/comment that isn't part of the story> BC-G Longbow: Crusade + 3:11 Days Peregrine turns an annoyed thought to the new arrival. With a wave of his godlike hand... err... wing, he collapses a sphere of snowballs onto kadude at .99c. Kadude gains a new understanding of the laws of physics as he vaporises in the bright flash of matter/energy conversion. Peregrine gives a satisfied look at the universe's newest star, then returns to his quarters to sleep.
Ancalagon
*Lazily, Ancalagon muches on a snow ball, and slurps a snow flavored cola while watching the Return of the King, he still hasn't recieved word yet from Shin...lazy...llama-thing that he is. *He pauses ROTK, and turns his massive head towards the forests and hills and towering mountains of the Blessed Realm of the True Gods. His gaze lingers a moment on the Impassible Pillars of Creation, massive towering pillars made from unknown metals and diamond. Turning his gaze to the Mortal Realms, he espies Peregrine demolishing Mojlnir's fleet.. To remind Peregrine that he is still being watched, Ancalagon pretty much turns the full force of his Gaze upon Peregrines ship (home, thing, whatever). Invading the Birds thoughts and stripping him bare of all his secrets, the great blue eyes bore into Peregrines very soul and shake the foundations of his realm. ".....BOO!" Peregrine
BC-G Longbow: Invasion +3:12 Days The ship's rocking finally stopped, and the cloud of feathers surrounding Peregrine began to float to the floor. As Peregrine sits frozen in absolute terror, his feathers all standing up, turning the "god" into a roundish ball, one simple thought occupies his mind: Ancalagon still lives. Finally, the terror fades, and Peregrine once again is able to think. Ancalagon, safely out of his reach for now, will have to wait. But now, there are more important things to deal with. Such as the two beautiful female birds in his nest. A few minuites later, all thoughts of Ancalagon and war are forgotten....
ObsidianKnight
"Well, I'm stuck in this crazy universe, I may as well try to explore it." Armiena has her shipyards build a fleet of tiny scout vessels, armed with only scanners, comlink transponders (for communication, of course), and ludicrously fast engines. She decides to send the first batch of scouts to Mars. Mojlnir
"Nice one you feather encrusted ninny" mutters Mojlnir to noone in particular as the base hums with activity "Didn't expect traitors..." Down on the parade ground 257 workers and soldiers stand in a tight group, surrounding by heavily armed Space Marines. They are the surviving rebels, and a special end awaits them. Mojlnir strides to the leader of the remaining rebels, and pulling his sno-blaster, shoots her directly between the eyes. The others cringe and try to back away from the now headless corpse as it collapses to the ground. Mojlnir's wrath is terrible to see, his eyes flash with an oddly bluish light, and the amulet of the White Dragon around his neck seems alive, its eyes shining like blue lasers. He turns to the rest of the group, and holstering his pistol, addresses them with steelly calm "You have betrayed me, you have betrayed our cause, and you have betrayed HIM! I have vented my anger, for which I will pay pennance later. As for the rest of you, you will board that freighter yonder and make your way out of here. Supplies sufficient for several days will be placed aboard as well. Pray your "god" finds you before then! Get these scum off our base!" Space Marines, faces hidden behind reflective sno-glass armor, roughly shove the group onto the ship, which has preprogrammed coordinates for Peregrine's pathetic planet of New Habassa. Mojlnir grins as an aide runs up to tell him that the reserve fleet from Base-2 has arrived in near space, fully armed and insanely pissed, and ready for a hot jump. The claxon sounds as everyone rushes to man the remaining ships, already fueled and armed, and prepare for a hot jump directly into Peregrines home system. There are no freighters present, no medical ships, and all the escape pods have been removed and replaced with weapons. This fleet will not return, they do not want to return. They only want vengence upon an insane "god" who has plagued the universe for too long. Standing on his command bridge, Mojlnir rejoices at the sight of the 39 ships waiting for him in orbit. The 11 remaining ships of Mojlnir's fleet join with the reserve ships, giving him a total of 25 K-2l's and 20 P-5's each crammed to capacity with Space Marines gone nearly mad with blood lust. The 5 remaining ships are never before seen c4v-17 class anti-planetary ships code-named "War." When in their diamond shaped attack formation, they generate a crustal penatrating beam which allows them fly directly into the planets core and detonate their cargoes of high-capacity depleted sno-matter warheads. When the ships are in formation the order to jump is given and 50 ships disappear in the blink of an eye. Left deserted, the moon base is alone in space except for the retreating freighter laden with Peregrinites. Suddenly, the base erupts as self-destruct charges reduce the moon to ice, floating in the doleful glow of the lonely nebula. With no past and no future, Mojlnir's fleet closes with destiny.
