marharth
Something I have been thinking recently. When is it okay to kill someone or a group of people? I won't say anything yet, would like to see the replies first.

DeadMansFist849
Honestly, I'd say...hardly ever! If somebody is trying to inflict violence upon me, my family or a person who cannot fight back, damn right I will try to incapacitate the attacker. If there's no way to do so non-lethally, then so be it.
Lisnpuppy
If myself or my family were in clear and present danger of extreme violence or death...then I may be forced to do so. But for revenge....for a perceived slight....never.
McclaudEagle
For me, when someone is in life threatening danger, whether it be a friend, family member or just some stranger on the street, then I would probably resort to lethal force but only if all other options are no longer viable. marharth
Should of made it clear, but I am not just talking on a individual level. Also for governments. Does anyone think that killing is okay for any other reason besides self defense?

For the most part the Army should be sitting on it's backside or doing something else rather than going off wherever the government point's it or corporation depending how oneself look's at it, and in the end everyone turns a blind eye to what they do. Sad.
kvnchrist
When has it ever been OK to kill someone that didn't pose a threat to others. They don't call that killing, they call it murder. The only exemption to this is the death penalty,

For another question, would it be okay to kill a politician in order to save other people?

I think we would have to kill ALL of them for the effort to be meaningful. :D
